Centre for Bioinformatics was established under the Trust SNEH (Society for Nature, Education and Health) in 2003, registered under Indian Trust Act, Regd. IV/ 1413, as a non-profit organization. The institute was established as a premier Biological, Medical, Paramedical and Technological Institution. with the aim of providing high quality education in Engineering and Technology to the students of the country, especially in the State as also for seeking potential employment outside the State The foundation aims to be the best education hub in the region

It is a self-supporting, self-financed and privately managed institute. CBI is situated on the Tupudana ,Hatia national highway about 5 km from nearest Railway station. Academic knowledge is imparted by highly qualified and eminent teachers with the active support of other trained staff exposing the students to current industrial aspects through Industry-Institute interaction at appropriate levels.
