A grand Principals’ Meet and Academic Excellence Felicitation Ceremony was organized at Silli Polytechnic College on Monday, April 21. Principals from all government and private intermediate colleges and Plus-Two high schools of the Silli block, Jharkhand, were present on the occasion. The program was not limited to a felicitation ceremony but also served as a significant platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative ideas. The primary objective of the event was to strengthen coordination between schools and technical institutions, ensuring better guidance and enhanced opportunities for students. During the program, the Director of Silli Polytechnic, Dr. Bishnubrata Chattopadhyay, stated in his address that the institution focuses not only on academic curriculum but also on imparting practical knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills aligned with industry needs. He also highlighted that students’ achievements and their developed technical competencies were presented before the principals. Meanwhile, the Principal of the college, Mr. Samir Sharma, emphasized that the institution is committed to creating an academic environment where every student receives the right direction and opportunities according to their abilities. He appealed to the principals of government and private schools for their cooperation and guidance, stating that collective efforts will help the institution achieve its goals more effectively and ensure the holistic development of students. The program emerged as a meaningful initiative, combining recognition with constructive dialogue, and marked an important step towards collaborative growth in the field of education.

Students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Silli, participated in a successfully organized Technical Awareness Visit at Silli Polytechnic College. The primary objective of the program was to connect students with global technological developments, modern innovations, and advanced engineering trends, while fostering a spirit of innovation and enhancing awareness of emerging technologies. During the visit, students gained practical exposure to real-life challenges and developed a technical approach toward problem-solving. They were also provided guidance for building careers in emerging technical fields. On this occasion, teachers Anjali Kumari (History), Lata Kumari (Social Studies), Jayanti Kumari (Geography), Seema Kumari (Hindi), and Shubhangshi Toppo accompanied the students. Faculty members from all departments of Silli Polytechnic actively participated in the program. Students were taken on a tour of advanced laboratories across the Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer Science, and Electronics & Communication Engineering departments. They closely observed modern machinery, innovative technologies, and projects developed by the polytechnic students. The Principal of the school, Ms. Chandrika Kumari, stated that “such educational visits enhance students’ interest in technical education and make them more aware and motivated about their careers.

Another Technical Exposure Visit was successfully organized at Silli Polytechnic College for the students of Ursuline Convent English Medium School. The primary objective of the program was to familiarize students with modern technologies, global technological advancements, and emerging engineering fields, while motivating them towards technical education. During the visit, students gained valuable exposure to real-life technical challenges and developed a scientific and practical approach to problem-solving. They were also guided on career opportunities in various emerging technical domains. Students were taken on a tour of advanced laboratories across the Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer Science, and Electronics & Communication Engineering departments. They closely observed modern machinery, innovative technologies, and projects developed by the polytechnic students. The program proved to be highly informative, inspiring, and beneficial for the students.
