Government ITI Rangpo had the privilege of hosting Shri Divyanshu Sir, Deputy Director, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), during his visit to Sikkim in connection with the PM-SETU initiative.

During the visit, Shri Divyanshu Sir inspected the training facilities and infrastructure of the institute and interacted with trainees, instructors, and staff members. He appreciated the efforts being undertaken towards strengthening skill development and enhancing employability outcomes.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for constructive discussions on the future roadmap of PM-SETU and the transformation of ITIs into industry-aligned, future-ready skill institutions.

The interaction was highly fruitful and inspiring for the institute, reaffirming our commitment towards excellence in skill development.

The District Skill Committee (DSC) meeting was successfully conducted today under the chairpersonship of District Collector, Pakyong.

The meeting witnessed participation from various line departments and focused on the preparation of the District Skill Development Plan for Pakyong District. Discussions centered on identifying local skill requirements, strengthening convergence among departments, and enhancing employment opportunities for youth.

The Chairperson emphasized a collaborative approach towards building a skilled and future-ready workforce in the district.
