We are proud to share the achievement of our alumnus Pragyan Pandey, B.Tech IT (Class of 2018-2022) who has been selected for the Master’s in Software Engineering programme at TU Wien.

Ranked among the top 200 universities globally in QS Rankings and among the top 100 for Computer Science, TU Wien is one of Europe’s leading technical institutions. He will be joining the programme in October 2026.

Currently associated with Accenture in Kolkata, he interacted with the faculty members and shared insights from his professional journey. He also expressed his willingness to support the department through student interactions, placements, and internship opportunities.

We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of our alumnus, Krishanu, on securing admission to SCMHRD for MBA!

His outstanding performance in various management entrance examinations reflects his dedication and academic excellence.
His CAT Score percentile : 97.9 percentile.
Krishanu also received admission calls from several prestigious institutions including IIM Shillong, IIM Udaipur, IIM Tiruchirappalli, IIM Kashipur, NMIMS Mumbai, SPJIMR, SJMSOM, and XLRI Delhi-NCR.

Research Spotlight

Title: "A Lightweight and Imbalance-Aware Deep Learning Framework for Multi-Class Plant Disease Classification"

Shresth’s work addresses a pivotal challenge in precision agriculture: achieving high-accuracy disease detection using computationally efficient models. By implementing a lightweight ResNet-18 architecture optimized with weighted sampling and class-weighted cross-entropy loss, his research demonstrates that strategic training pipelines can overcome data imbalance without the need for high-complexity hardware.
