Suprasanna Dubey of 3rd Semester English Major was awarded the Chandan Bardhan Memorial Prize 2025 for her outstanding academic performance in the last Second Semester KNU Examination.

To mark the auspicious occasion of the 250th birth anniversary of Jane Austen a commemorative wall magazine was put on public display by the Department of English, Raniganj Girls' College on 19 December 2025. It was unveiled by our Prinicpal Dr Chhabi De in the presence of the faculty members and students of the department. Dr Rakhiparna Ghosh and Dr Rumela Saha had undertaken the project with great gusto and it was executed by three of our 5th Semester students of English Major namely, Aastha Mukherjee, Megha Bhuin and Tasleema Khatun.
