Today, Utkal Institute of Management & Legal Studies, Rayagada proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India at the Utkal Law College Campus, Rayagada, with great enthusiasm, patriotism and pride. ❤️🇮🇳

The campus came alive with the spirit of patriotism as our Hon’ble Chairman, DrAshok Kumar Mishra , along with our dedicated staff members Sri Siba Prasad Mishra , Sri Subhasish Malabisoi , Sri Bishnu Prasad Ghadei and Miss Manisha Rana, and our enthusiastic students, came together to commemorate this historic occasion with great pride and enthusiasm. The National Flag was proudly hoisted, followed by moments of respect, unity and celebration that beautifully reflected the true spirit of our nation. 🇮🇳

The celebration was a beautiful reminder of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the responsibility we carry as citizens to contribute towards a stronger, united and progressive India.

The 1st Induction Programme for the newly admitted LL.B. students was successfully conducted on 09 November 2025 at UIMLS, Rayagada.

The programme was graced by SMT. NIBEDITA PATRI , Chief Patron and President, Governing Body, UIMLS, Rayagada. We were honoured by the presence of SJ. SUBRATA KUMAR ACHARAYA , OJS, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Rayagada, as the Chief Guest.

The session featured an insightful address by Dr. Dushmant Kumar Mohanty, Retired Professor, Govt. Women's College, Rayagada, as the Chief Speaker. The programme was further enriched by the presence of Adv. Subhra Panda and Adv. Padmanava Dash , DJ Court, Rayagada, as Guests of Honour.

We were also privileged to have Adv. Braja sundar Nayak , Special PP, Rayagada, as Adviser, and SJ. Govinda Prasad Rath, Director, GIST Engineering College, Rayagada, as Special Guest.

The ceremonial lamp lighting, guest felicitation, inspiring speeches, and enthusiastic participation of students made the event a memorable beginning to their legal education journey.
