Aditya Birla Intermediate College,Renusagar,Sonbhadra - RPIC, Uttar Pradesh It was 1968 when Renupower Management started the school with a small number of students in a residential house of Renupower Colony. Govt.

The objective was to provide employees' wards with quality education. Within three years it came into the form of Primary School and acquired a separate school building. Its level increased year by year and it was upgraded to Junior High School Level in 1975. In 1976 primary school got separated and junior high school came into being. It became High School in 1977 with affiliation to and the recog

nition of Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. It acquired the status of an Intermediate College in 1991. Renu Power Intermediate College got rechristened as Aditya Birla Intermediate College in 2007. The college is located in Renusagar Power Residential Area at Renusagar, District Sonebhadra (U.P.) on Varanasi, Shaktinagar Highway it caters mainly to the educational needs of the wards of the employees of Renusagar Power Division, Hindalco Industries Limited. Today A.B.I.C, Renusagar is one of the best co-educational Hindi Medium Schools. Now, it is an Intermediate college with strength of 1785 students and providing education in Humanities, Science & Commerce Streams. The School aims at all- round development of the students. The College is managed and financed by Hindalco Industries Limited, Renusagar Power Division, Renusagar and Aided by U.P.
