Exposure Visit on Entrepreneurship and Innovation Organized by Bamra Trust Fund College
Bamra, February 13: Bamra Trust Fund College organized an exposure visit to promote awareness on entrepreneurship, innovation, and start-ups. The visit was conducted on 13th February 2026 (Friday) to “RACAF Reform and Accessories,” a plastic bottle manufacturing plant located at Tileimal in Jharsuguda district.
A total of 170 students actively participated in this educational visit. Under the guidance of the faculty members of the Department of Economics, the students gained practical knowledge about the manufacturing process, use of raw materials, functioning of machinery, and marketing strategies of the plant.
The proprietor of the factory, Mr. Chaturbhuja Choudhary, explained in detail about the start-up. He discussed the initial steps of starting the enterprise, capital management, various challenges faced, and his journey towards success. His motivational address inspired the students to develop interest in self-employment and entrepreneurship.
The program was sponsored by Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) and was organized by the PM-USHA team. The event was mainly coordinated by Miss Anita Horo and Mr. Deepak Kumar Meher. All the staff members of the college cooperated wholeheartedly in making the program successful.
At the end of the visit, the faculty members expressed that such exposure visits provide practical industrial experience to students and encourage them to explore new avenues in entrepreneurship. The program concluded successfully with positive feedback from all participants.
