This time team CES comes with career guidance talk by IES officers.
Thousands of Engineering aspirants across the country sits for UPSC Ese every year, but only a few hundred candidate make it .
Participate in a one of a kind of interactive session with Er. Prashant Singh who secured AIR 2 and Er. Satish Rai who secure AIR 50 in UPSC ESE 2020.
You all the opportunity to converse with and learn from them in an interactive session.

About the speaker:

Dr Nicolò Vaiana received the M.S. in Building Engineering and Architecture from the University of Calabria (Italy) in 2013. He obtained the Second Level International Master in Emerging Technologies for Construction (2015) and the PhD in Structural, Geotechnical, and Seismic Engineering (2017) at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy). He spent one academic year (2015-2016) at the University of California at Berkeley as visiting student researcher, under the guidance of Professor F.C. Filippou, and two academic years (2017-2019) at the University of Naples Federico II as a post-doctoral researcher. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in Structural Mechanics and Dynamics at the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II (Italy),

Happy Independence Day from team CES IITH.
Independence Day is a national holiday celebrated in India to commemorate the country’s independence. On August 15, 1947, India gained its freedom from the Britisher’s colonial rule almost after two centuries of oppression and subjugation. It is a day to remember and celebrate the countless sacrifices made by courageous freedom fighters. This day also provides an occasion to celebrate the country’s many cultural manifestations and achievements in various fields. India will be celebrating 75 years of independence on 15th August 2022.

CES, IITH successfully conducted its first offline event of this session , a lecture on "Development, Characterization, and Modelling of Physical, Mechanical, and Durability Properties of Sustainable UHPC" delivered by Dr. Srinivas Allena , Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cleveland State University.
We express our gratitude towards Dr srinivas Allena for his highly knowledgeable and insightful presentation.
We also thank to all guest and attendees for their whole- hearted support that made the event successful.

About the speaker :- Dr. Srinivas Allena received his PhD in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineering from New Mexico State University in 2010. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cleveland State University.
Dr. Srinivas Allena will give a brief keynote lecture followed by an open forum Q&A session.

Design of good houses require an understanding of both the construction material (concrete ) and behavior of real human.

Concrete is a composite material composed of fine and coarse aggregate bonded together with a fluid cement (cement paste) that hardens (cures) over time.
