🏆 Proud Achievement 🏆

We are delighted to share that the magazine “Dnyanada 2024” of Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering, Ashta has secured 1st Place in the Professional Category at the Shivaji University Inter-Collegiate Magazine Competition for the academic year 2023–24.

The award-winning issue, themed “AI for Everyone”, was recognized for its creativity, technical accuracy, and impactful presentation of artificial intelligence concepts through effective student writing and innovative content.

The award was presented on 8th April 2026 by Dr. Jyoti Jadhav, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Dr. V. N. Shinde, Registrar, who appreciated the remarkable efforts of the students and editorial team.

The Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology, Ashta, successfully organized a guest lecture on “Mechanical Testing of Polymer Composites” on 29th April 2026.

The lecture was conducted for third-year Aeronautical Engineering students with the objective of enhancing their understanding of composite material testing.

The session provided valuable insights into the industrial applications of polymer composites and the testing methodologies followed in accordance with ASTM standards.

The third-year students actively participated, making the session both interactive and informative.

🎓 Expert Lecture Highlight 🎓

The Department of Aeronautical Engineering successfully organized an expert lecture on “Vibration Diagnostics Using Laser Alignment and FFT Analyzer” delivered by Mr. Kiran J. Burle for T.Y students on "World Intellectual Property Day ".

The session was highly informative and practically oriented, providing a strong foundation in vibration analysis even for students with limited prior exposure. Key concepts such as misalignment and unbalance were explained in a clear and structured manner.

A major highlight of the lecture was the inclusion of real-world case studies, which effectively connected theoretical knowledge with industrial applications. The practical insights into fault identification and diagnostic techniques using FFT analysis and laser alignment tools greatly enhanced students’ understanding.

Overall, the session was engaging and enriched students’ knowledge in condition monitoring and predictive maintenance, equipping them with valuable skills to interpret vibration data in real-world scenarios.

A heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Prajakta Dethe (TY Aero) for conducting an engaging and insightful special session on Aircraft Structures for SY students.

Her clear explanation of complex problems and interactive approach kept students actively involved throughout the session. It was great to see students asking thoughtful questions and gaining clarity through her guidance.

This session truly reflects the spirit of “seniors extending a helping hand to juniors”, fostering a strong culture of peer learning and collaboration.

The Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology successfully conducted its 12th Board of Studies (BoS) Meeting today.
The session was highly productive, featuring insightful contributions from esteemed external experts who joined online. Faculty members actively participated alongside representatives from Basic Sciences (Mathematics) and the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, enriching the academic discussions.
Constructive feedback was received for the Revision 3 curriculum and the Second Year B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering syllabus, marking a significant step toward strengthening academic excellence.
