अंतरिक्ष में क्यों जमा हो रहा कई टन कचरा? क्या आपको पता है कि अंतरिक्ष में कुल कितना कचरा है
कचरा सिर्फ धरती पर ही एक समस्या नहीं है बल्कि अंतरिक्ष भी इस परेशानी का सामना कर रहा है पिछले दिनों नासा के आदेश को मानते हुए इंटरनेशल स्पेस स्टेशन (ISS) ने लगभग 2.9 टन अंतरिक्ष में फेंका था. इससे ISS तो काफी हल्का हुआ लेकिन अंतरिक्ष में कचरा और बढ़ गया है ये कचरा SUV आकार जितने डिब्बे में बंद है. इसमें स्पेस में इस्तेमाल किए जाने वाले बैटरी आदि है, जो पृथ्वी के कक्षा में कई सालों तक घूमता रहेगा. ये 2007 में फेंके गए कचरे से कहीं ज्यादा है, वहीं नासा के अधिकारियों ने अपडेट करते हुए बताया कि ये कचरा 2 से 3 साल बाद पृथ्वी पर भी गिरने की उम्मीद है. इस पर नासा के प्रवक्ता ने कहा की घबराने की कोई बात नहीं ये पृथ्वी पर गिरते समय इसके वायुमंडल में आने से पहले ही ये जलकर खत्म हो जाएगा.
क्या होता है स्पेस कचरा
नासा के अनुसार स्पेस कचरे को space debris or orbital debris भी कहा जाता है, जिसमें स्पेसक्राफ्ट, सैटेलाइट, रॉकेट, बैटरी और बाकी टेक्नोलॉजी के पुराने टुकड़े और खराब टुकड़े होते हैं, जो इंसानों ने ही फैलाए है और पृथ्वी की कक्षा में घूमते रहते हैं.
स्पेस में कितना कचरा है?
स्पेस में कचरा बहुत सारे या करोड़ों की संख्या में घूम रहा है या फिर कहिए की फ्लोट कर रहा है. नासा के अनुसार लगभग 6 हजार टन कचरा अंतरिक्ष में है जिसमें अधिकतर 18,000 माइल्स प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से घूम रहा है. ये कचरा पृथ्वी के कक्षा में घूम रहा है. पृथ्वी पर कचारा न फैलाया जाए इसके लिए बहुत से नियम बनाए गए हैं लेकिन स्पेस में ऐसा कोई नियम नहीं है. नासा के अनुसार इसके लिए कोई नियम और कायदे नहीं है और न ही कुछ ऐसा है कि ये करोड़ों की संख्या में कचरा पृथ्वी के कक्षा से साफ किया जा सके.
NHM के अनुसार यूनाइटिड नेशन की ओर से अनुरोध किया गया कि जो स्टेलाइट स्पेस में लॉन्च किए जाते हैं उन्हें मिशन खत्म होने के साथ 25 सालों के भीतर पृथ्वी की कक्षा से हटा दिया जाए. लेकिन ये करना काफी कठिन है.
