💊 6th National Pharmacovigilance Week 2026

Narayan Institute of Pharmacy,Gopal Narayan Singh University, Jamuhar is proud to observe the 6th National Pharmacovigilance Week, from 17–23 September 2026, under the theme:

“Promoting Rational Use of Medicines through Pharmacovigilance: A Step Towards Safer Healthcare.”

The event aims to create awareness about the importance of safe and rational use of medicines, detection and assessment of adverse drug reactions, prevention of medication-related risks, and promotion of patient safety.

🎓 Successful Completion of Five-Day FDP at GNSU

The Narayan Institute of Pharmacy (NIOP), Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU) successfully concluded a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) held from 7–11 September 2026 on “Transforming Pharmaceutical Education under NEP 2020: Innovation, Research, Skill Development & Emerging Technologies.”

The FDP brought together renowned experts who shared valuable insights on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, advanced research methodologies, modern drug discovery, computational drug design, nanotechnology-based drug delivery, scientific writing, research ethics, patents, research funding, proposal writing, and career development.

The interactive expert sessions, discussions, and Q&A opportunities provided faculty members and researchers with valuable knowledge and practical perspectives to strengthen teaching, research, innovation, and professional development.

The University leadership congratulated the organizing team, experts, and participants for the successful completion of the programme and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in advancing pharmaceutical education and research.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Convener & Dean Prof. (Dr.) Dharmendra Kumar and Co-Convener Prof. (Dr.) Laliteshwar Pratap Singh, with the dedicated efforts of the organizing secretaries, coordinators, and the entire organizing committee.

Narayan Institute of Pharmacy (NIOP), Gopal Narayan Singh University, successfully commenced its Five-Day Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on:

📌 “Transforming Pharmaceutical Education under NEP 2020: Innovation, Research, Skill Development, and Emerging Technologies”

The inaugural session focused on “Artificial Intelligence in Pharmaceutical Sciences”, featuring an insightful expert lecture by Prof. (Dr.) Anand Gaurav, UPES, Dehradun.

💡 The session explored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in Drug Discovery, Machine Learning, and Pharmacy Education, offering valuable insights into the future of pharmaceutical sciences.

We were honoured by the gracious presence of Prof. (Dr.) Mahendra Kumar Singh, Advisor to the Chancellor, who addressed the participants and extended his best wishes for the successful conduct of the FDP.

The session provided an engaging platform for faculty members and researchers to learn, interact, and explore emerging possibilities in AI-driven pharmaceutical education and research.
