QuizManiac BEings made a major mark at the regional round of the NTPC Electron Quiz, competing against 200 of the region's sharpest minds in The World of Business & Management on 28th September 2026.
Out of 7 teams in the prelims, 2 reached the 6-team Grand Finale and brought home ₹28,000 in prize money!

We are thrilled to share that Dr. Atanu Banerjee from the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIEST, Shibpur, has been awarded the ANRF Advanced Research Grant worth approximately ₹ INR 1.04 crore! 🥳👏

His research will focus on the "Development of Cyber-Resilient Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure and Security Control Framework with Fault Diagnosis and Vulnerability Analysis Facilities"—a key initiative supporting India’s vision for clean and secure electric mobility. 🔋🚗
