Mr. Prashanth H.D., Principal of Kumadvathi Residential Central School, attended the SSSC Principals’ Meet held at Sridhatri Bhavan, Shivamogga, on 12th May 2026.

The meeting brought together principals from Sahyadri Sahodaya member schools to discuss recent CBSE updates and new educational initiatives.

An informative session by Mr. Suresh, Principal of Sri Channamallikarjuna School, Shikaripura, highlighted important topics including CBSE affiliation updates, mandatory documentation, School Management Committee formation, and initiatives such as Kaushal Bodh, Kaushal Vikas, Art Education, IDA, CT & AI.

Our Class 9 students are trying to solve this real problem in the ATL lab by building a Fog Detector and Alarm System.
The idea is simple but powerful — when visibility drops, the system gives an alert so that timely action can be taken.

The project focuses on creating a compact security system that can identify metallic objects and suspicious materials using sensor-based technology. Once detected, the system triggers an instant alert through a buzzer or LED, ensuring quick response.

This activity is helping students understand real-world applications of electronics, coding, and safety systems used in high-security zones like airports and railway stations.

🚆 Innovation in Progress at ATL Lab!
Our Class 9 students are currently working on an exciting project — the Railway Accident Protector System — in our ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab).
This smart system is being designed to use sensors for detecting obstacles or nearby trains on railway tracks. In case of any potential danger, the system will alert the loco pilot through signals or alarms, helping to prevent accidents and improve safety.
Through this hands-on project, students are actively exploring STEM concepts, developing problem-solving skills, and turning ideas into reality.
We are proud of our young innovators and look forward to the successful completion of this project! 👏
