Named as one of the top five ideas changing the world by President Bill Clinton and TIME Magazine, the annual competition for the Hult Prize aims to create and launch the most compelling social business ideas—start-up enterprises that tackle grave issues faced by billi

ons of people. Winners receive USD1 Million in seed capital, as well as mentorship and advice from the international business community. The Hult Prize is offered in partnership with Former US President Bill Clinton and the Clinton Global Initiative. It is hosted and supported by Hult International Business School. And it is generously funded by Swedish entrepreneur Bertil Hult and his family. It has been called the "Nobel Prize for Students" by media outlets world-wide.

The Hult Prize Committee of Indian Institute of Management Shillong was grateful to host Mr. Ameer Iqubal, ACT partner, IIMB alumnus and Mr. Ayushmn Sikka, ACT partner, NMIMS Mumbai alumnus, for a Corporate Training Session on Corporate Case Competitions.

The session revolved around case solving methodology and how students should go about solving various genres of cases. The students were given the opportunity to see winning presentations and the rationale behind their construction as well.

We once again thank Mr. Ameer Iqubal and Mr. Ayushmn Sikka for taking out time from their tight schedules and conducting such an insightful, engaging and enriching session.

The Hult Prize Committee of Indian Institute of Management Shillong was grateful to host Mr. Akshat Shrivastava, co-founder of Cases over Coffee, for a Corporate Training Session on case solving and preparing a business plan for the participants.

The session shed light on the various types of cases and how to go about solving a case.
