Students of B.Sc Nursing 2nd Semester actively participated in a Poster Making Competition held under the theme "Give Blood, Give Hope – Together We Save Lives", organized jointly by Rotary Club Shimla and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Zonal Hospital (DDUZH), Shimla.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and creativity. Among the nursing students, the following were awarded for their outstanding posters:

2nd Position: Shweta

3rd Position: Diksha

Consolation Prizes: Damini and Tanvi

Their posters reflected the importance of voluntary blood donation and the hope it brings to those in need.

In addition to the poster-making activity, the students also performed a Nukkad Natak (Street Play) to spread awareness on blood donation. The performance was well-received and appreciated by the audience, effectively communicating the message of saving lives through blood donation.

This participation not only enhanced the students' awareness but also helped sensitize the community towards the importance of donating blood voluntarily and regularly

The Nutrition Practical is a hands-on component of the nutrition curriculum designed to provide students of gnm 1st year with real-world experience in applying theoretical knowledge of food science, dietary planning, and nutritional assessment. During the practical sessions, students engage in a variety of activities :
Food analysis
Meal planning
Cooking and food preparation
GNM 1 st year
Group 1- diabetic diet(besan chilla, brown bread sandwich)
Group 2- high protein diet(moong chilla, chaat of vegetables)
