RIT successfully conducted a 5-Day Summer School on "From Circuits to Smart Systems: Exploring Research through AI and Arduino" from 25th–30th May 2026, inspiring school students to explore the exciting world of technology and innovation.

Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (SRIEIT) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fluxatic Global on 1st June 2026. This collaboration marks an important step toward enhancing industry engagement and creating valuable opportunities for our students.
During his visit, Mr. Shawn Kenneth Fernandes, Founder & CEO, Fluxatic Global, provided an insightful overview of BridgeAura – Academy and Summits, highlighting its role in fostering professional development and industry readiness among aspiring engineers and technology professionals.
He also interacted with our students and shared valuable information regarding internship opportunities, encouraging them to gain practical exposure and develop skills aligned with current industry requirements.

Student Research Project Receives State Innovation Grant

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology proudly announces the selection of the student research project titled “Characterization and Development of Additively Manufactured Porous Biomedical Implant of Annealed Ti6Al4V Alloy” under the Scheme to Encourage Students for Innovative Projects.
The project has been awarded a grant of ₹50,000 by the Department of Science and Technology and Waste Management, Government of Goa, through the Goa State Innovation Council Society, in recognition of its scientific merit and innovative contribution to biomedical implant development using additive manufacturing technology.

This achievement was accomplished by final-year Mechanical Engineering students Avishkaar Pradeep Tari, Shennoy Caetano Andrade and Josiah Christo Tavares, under the guidance of Prof. Jateen Shet Shirodkar. The project focuses on developing porous biomedical implants using annealed Ti6Al4V alloy, a material known for its excellent strength and biocompatibility.

This recognition reflects the commitment to research and technical excellence while highlighting the institute’s continued efforts to encourage innovation, interdisciplinary learning and practical engineering solutions that address modern healthcare challenges through advanced manufacturing methods.
