On 11th November 2024, the NISP Cell at MPTP Shirpur Campus, supported by the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), celebrated National Education Day at R.C. Patel Secondary School in Kharde village, Shirpur. This event was organized with a clear objective: to inspire young students to think creatively about innovation and entrepreneurship, fulfilling the IIC-NISP objective of building a culture that fosters creativity and entrepreneurial spirit among students and faculty alike.
The program featured insightful talks delivered by faculty members from MPTP Shirpur Campus on the following topics:
Significance of National Education Day Celebration – This session focused on the legacy of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and the impact of his contributions on India’s educational landscape. Faculty discussed how education is key to progress and why honouring Azad’s vision is still relevant today.
Importance of Education in Current Era – This talk addressed the role of education in navigating an ever-evolving world. Faculty encouraged students to see education not just as a means to academic success, but as a tool for self-growth, skill-building, and creating new opportunities.
Education for Entrepreneurship – Aligned closely with NISP’s objectives, this session aimed to spark entrepreneurial thinking among students. Faculty shared insights into how education can be a foundation for innovative ideas, risk-taking, and building businesses that contribute to the economy.
The highlight of the event was an engaging, three-hour interactive session where students from grades 9 through 12 and their teachers openly discussed ideas, asked questions, and explored entrepreneurial concepts in depth. It was a lively exchange, with students enthusiastically participating and faculty members offering valuable guidance and encouragement.
The event was organized and coordinated by Dr. Mallikarjun Dhotre, Prof. Rajesh Verma, and Dr. Rajnish Katarne, who brought the program to life with their dedication and support. This celebration of National Education Day became more than an event—it was an experience that left a lasting impression on students and strengthened their enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship.
