Hajj Orientation Camp:

Maktabah Jafariyah recently organised a Hajj Orientation camp for all the people who wish to go on a pilgrimage to Hajj this year and also launched an instruction book for the Hajjis at the same event. Mr Hasanbhai Bhatt of the Vafadar Tour had initially made this suggestion and the staff and the students of Maktabah Jafariyah took it upon themselves to make the programme a successful one. By the grace of the Almighty Allah, the programme was indeed successful and the staff of Maktabah Jafariyah and its students received lots of blessing from the prospective Hajjis. Here, we present some photographs of the programme. It is pertinent to mention here that the models that were required for the camp were prepared by Mr Irfan Jafri and Mr Ishtiyaq Ali of Dreamland Art, Dholka.

Maktabah Jafariyah organises blood donation camps annually on its campus in order to commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Husain (may peace be upon him) every Moharram. For this event, Maktabah Jafariyah is indebted to the services of Prathama Blood Centre of Ahmedabad. Since the last couple of years, alhamdolillah, our community has been taking part in this blood donation camp in all its enthusiasm. In order to recognize this service to mankind by our community in the name of Hazrat Imam Husain (may peace be upon him), Mr. Ravishankar, Managing Director and Mr. Sandeep Mishra, Project Manager of Prathama Blood Centre paid a visit to Maktabah Jafariyah and presented a trophy, a certificate and a memento to Ahmed Vikas Mandal, the managing committee of Maktabah Jafariyah as a token of gratitude for the patronage that Prathama Blood Centre receives from our community. Here is a photograph of the meeting.

Maktabah Jafariyah Dairy Education Programme: After two fruitful conferences, a curriculum has been indigenously developed for the cattle-rearing people of our community. The course will help them rear cattles and derive profit from dairy products in a scientific manner. Also, it will help break the stereotype that only backward people take cattle-rearing as a profession and that really educated people go to the office and do business or take jobs in the corporate world. When Maktabah Jafariyah will be able to give prestige to such simple and virtuous people who opt for a righteous life for the sake of Allah and give up the vices of modernism without lagging in knowledge behind the so-called modernity, one of the many goals of Maktabah Jafariyah will have been fulfilled, insha Allah.
