An engaging and well-attended Election Quiz Competition was successfully conducted, witnessing an impressive participation of students. The quiz focused on key aspects of the Indian electoral system, including voting procedures, electoral awareness, and the historical evolution of elections in India.
A total of 12 teams took part in the preliminary round, out of which four teams qualified for the final stage. The finals were structured into six competitive rounds, including visual, bonus, and rapid-fire segments, making the session both dynamic and intellectually stimulating.
The event concluded on a high note, graced by the presence of Bidyut Kanti Das, Registrar;Joydeep Paul,DSW;, and Dr. Mridul Mohan Das,teacher in charge of quiz and Debate club ,their encouragement added significance to the occasion.
Overall, the quiz served as an effective platform to promote electoral awareness and critical understanding of India’s democratic processes among students.

Proud to share that we, the students of Gurucharan University, had the opportunity to represent Cachar District at the Inter-District Youth Exchange Programme organized under Mera Yuva Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports

Our delegation travelled to Kokrajhar District, Assam, where we engaged with fellow youth from different regions, exchanged ideas, cultures, and perspectives, and celebrated the spirit of national integration.

Grateful for this recognition and for the Certificate of Participation acknowledging our contribution and enthusiasm during the programme.
