Shah Satnam Ji Girls' College
A Project Report Viva-Voce for the students of M.A. Public Administration, 3rd Semester, was successfully conducted at Shah Satnam Ji Girls' College. The viva examination was organized to evaluate the students’ understanding, research skills, presentation abilities, and knowledge related to their project topics.
During the viva session, students presented their project reports confidently and explained the objectives, methodology, findings, and conclusions of their research work. The external and internal examiners interacted with the students and asked various subject-related questions to assess their analytical thinking and practical understanding of Public Administration concepts.
The students actively participated in the viva and demonstrated good communication skills, confidence, and subject knowledge. The examiners appreciated the efforts made by the students in preparing their project reports and encouraged them to continue developing their research and academic abilities.
The viva-voce was conducted smoothly in a disciplined and academic environment under the guidance of the faculty members of the Department of Public Administration. NCC Army Wing Conducted Flood Disaster Mock Exercise

A Mock Exercise on Flood Disaster Management was successfully conducted on 14 May 2026 by the NCC Army Wing under the guidance of CTO Meena Rani. The activity was organized to spread awareness among cadets regarding disaster preparedness, emergency response, and rescue management during flood situations.

During the exercise, Ms. Raman Sethi, Assistant Professor in Physical Education, guided the cadets about important life-saving techniques and safety measures to be followed during emergencies and natural disasters. She explained the procedure for providing CPR in emergency situations, the precautions to be taken in case of bone fractures, and the proper methods to control bleeding before medical assistance arrives.

The cadets actively participated in the activity and learned several useful first-aid skills and disaster management techniques. The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial for all participants.

Principal Dr. Geeta Monga appreciated the efforts of the NCC Army Wing and encouraged the cadets to actively participate in such awareness and training activities. She motivated them to remain prepared to serve society during emergencies and disaster situations.

SSJGC Sirsa Shines Again with University Ranks in BCA

Sirsa,May 14, 2026: The Department of Computer Applications, SSJGC Sirsa, has brought laurels to the institution as Arsh Insan and Gurjot Insan secured University 4th and 10th Rank respectively in BCA 1st Semester examinations of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, December 2025 session.

World Red Cross Day Celebrated with Online Competitions at Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ College-Small efforts create big change

On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ College organised a series of online competitions to spread awareness about humanity, social service, health, and drug awareness among students. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who actively conveyed meaningful social messages through their creativity and knowledge.
The celebration included three online competitions — Quiz Competition, Small Paragraph Writing Competition, and Slogan Writing Competition. Through these activities, students highlighted the importance of compassion, kindness, healthy living, and awareness against drug abuse. Their active participation reflected a strong sense of social responsibility and humanitarian values.
The event was effectively initiated and coordinated by Ms Navjot with the support of Ms Tajinder and Ms Geeta. YRC In-Charge Dr Monika appreciated the efforts of the participants wholeheartedly. YRC Unit assured that such awareness-oriented programmes would continue in future as well to motivate students towards social service and community welfare.
The programme was also inspired by the widespread awareness campaign initiated across Haryana under the guidance of the Governor of Haryana, encouraging educational institutions to spread awareness among students and faculty members regarding humanitarian service and drug-free society initiatives.
The college Principal Dr Geeta Monga and IQAC Director Dr Rishu Tomar appreciated the sincere efforts of the organising team and students for making the event successful and meaningful.

Students of Shah Satnam Ji Girls' College actively participated in the National Technology Day Celebration organized at Chaudhary Devi Lal University.The event aimed to promote scientific thinking, innovation, and creativity among students through various technology-based competitions and activities.
The celebration included three major events. The first event was a Quiz Competition based on technology and innovation. The second event was a Working Model based on Science and Technology, where students displayed creative and practical models demonstrating the importance of modern technology. The third event focused on presenting innovative ideas through Posters and PowerPoint Presentations (PPTs), in which participants showcased their creativity and technical understanding.
During the programme, Professor V.K. Vijay took an inspiring seminar and motivated students by explaining how innovative ideas in science and technology can enhance creativity and help in developing practical solutions for the future.
The students of Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ College participated with great enthusiasm and confidence. Bringing laurels to the college, the team secured 3rd position in the Quiz Competition. The faculty members congratulated the participants for their achievement and encouraged them to continue participating in such educational and technological activities.
