Anti-Ragging Orientation Programme Held at Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ College, Sirsa
Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ College, Sirsa organised an Anti-Ragging Orientation Programme on 21 August 2026 to sensitise students about the harmful physical, emotional and psychological impact of ragging and to promote a safe, respectful and inclusive campus environment.
The programme featured the screening of the short film “The Silent Scars”, which sensitised students to the lasting impact of ragging. Principal Dr. Geeta Monga addressed the gathering and emphasised mutual respect, discipline, responsibility and the importance of maintaining a ragging-free campus.
Faculty members and staff also participated in the programme and interacted with students on the importance of healthy senior-junior relationships.
The programme concluded with the Anti-Ragging Pledge, which was taken collectively by all students present, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a campus free from ragging, harassment and intimidation.
