Bringing laurels to the institution the students of Sheds College have emerged as the Winners of the prestigious Moot Court Competition organised by DDM Sai Law College,Nadaun on September 26,2026.

In a highly competitive contest that saw participation from several leading law colleges the team from Sheds College displayed exemplary legal knowledge, advocacy skills, research aptitude and courtroom demeanour to lift the championship trophy.

The team was awarded a Cash Prize of Rs. 20,000/- for securing the First Position

Adding another feather to the cap our student Kajal from the team was also adjudged as the Best Speaker of the competition and was honoured with a Cash Prize of Rs. 5,000/ for outstanding oratory and legal reasoning.

The Moot Court problem was based on contemporary legal issues and tested the participants on their understanding of law, interpretation skills and ability to argue with conviction before the bench.The judges appreciated the Sheds College team for their thorough preparation, structured arguments and confident presentation.

The Principal of Sheds College congratulated the winning team and their mentors,stating, "This achievement is a testament to the hard work of our students and the quality of legal education imparted at Sheds College.Moot Courts are an integral part of legal training and such victories inspire our students to excel in the legal profession."

Report on today's Session with team Khoota.
Event Title: Interactive Session with Team Khoota: Culture, Cinema, and Conservation
Date: September 22, 2026
Venue: Main Auditorium, Sheds College

​Sheds College hosted the cast and crew of the upcoming film Khoota for an interactive promotional and educational event. Beyond showcasing the film, the crew engaged students in vital discussions regarding the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, alongside the urgent need for environmental conservation in the Himalayan region. The event blended cinematic excitement with meaningful socio-ecological dialogue, drawing enthusiastic students and faculty members.
Students interacted with the crew, learning about local storytelling, ground-level filmmaking challenges, and how regional cinema is evolving to reach national audiences.
The lead cast encouraged students to
stay connected to their indigenous heritage and use creative mediums (such as regional cinema, literature, and digital media) to keep local languages and folklore alive.

🍽️ FoSTaC Food Safety Training at SHEDS College 🎓
SHEDS College is organizing a FoSTaC (Food Safety Training & Certification) Program for SHEDS students, focusing on food safety, hygiene, and safe food-handling practices.
The training will be conducted under the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) framework and will provide students with practical knowledge about:

Report on Lecture on Public Health and Community Health.

*SHEDS College of Law* organized an informative lecture on “Public Health and Community Health” on *9 September 2026*.The lecture was delivered by Dr.Daman Ahuja who is a distinguished Public Health and Community Engagement expert with over three decades of dedicated service in India's development sector. He currently serves as a Member of the Institutional Ethics Committee, National Institute of Health and Family Welfare.He explained the importance of public and community health, disease prevention, health awareness, sanitation, hygiene, and healthy lifestyles.

The session helped the students to understand the role of individuals and communities in maintaining good health and preventing diseases.The lecture was informative and interactive and students actively participated in the session.
