Experiential Learning Module or the ELM is a core pillar of the Young India Fellowship. Fellows typically work in teams of four that equip them with the knowledge, skills, and reflective capacities to engage with complex and pertinent challenges through immersive experiences and sustained, collaborative partnerships.
Each year the The Outstanding Experiential Learning Module Project is given to the ELM team/s which have overcome challenges to achieve extraordinary results in their project work and exceeded their partner organisation and ELM Facultyโs expectations.
This yearโs awardees areโ
ELM Team 3, which worked with the Samrakshan Charitable Trust on designing a nature-based tourism experience led by women from the local communities of Madhya Pradesh. The team consisted of Darshan Tewari, Disha Chopra, Priyal Ranka, Trishala Nara, and Pragati Madhogarhia.
ELM Team 10, which worked with Sambhaav Trust on researching market opportunities for produce grown by Adivasi farmers, indigenous communities of South Rajasthan. The team comprised Pratyush Rudra, Santosh Rasve, Sanyam Mahajan and Trisha Purnaiya.
ELM Team 21 , Mirable, a self-deigned project for a holistic healthcare wearable to harness menstrual data for clinical intelligence. I would like to congratulate the membersโGauri Narula, Laxmi Krishnan, Miral Zafar, Muskaan Grover and Rika Verma.
ELM Team 23, RizzVision, a fashion assistant for the visually impaired. The team included Anu Migom Panging, Sabari Venkat, Shridhan Balaji Ambhore, Soni Yadav and Shivang.
4 teams also received special mentions at the ceremony, these were ELM Team 4 working with Indus Action, Team 8 for working with the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (KDISC), Team 13, which worked with Zubaan and Team 22, DexesBoxโ a self-designed project.
