Students of NIT Srinagar, including NSS volunteers and NCC cadets, under the coordination of NSS Programme Coordinator Dr. Pramod Kumar Yadav and NCC Coordinator Lt. (Dr.) Nitika Kundan, joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Nasha Mukt Viksit Bharat Abhiyan by taking an anti-drug pledge, participating in a campus-wide awareness rally, and watching the Prime Minister's live address. Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Atikur Rehman urged students to become ambassadors of a drug-free India, emphasizing the role of youth in building a healthy and developed nation. The programme concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to spreading awareness against substance abuse through NSS, NCC and Student Gymkhana activities, reinforcing the institute's resolve to promote a drug-free campus and society.
