*Condolence Message*

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Abdul Hamid Palla, a cherished member of the School of Law, whose unwavering dedication and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on our institution.

Mr. Palla was more than just an employee, he was a pillar of sincerity, honesty, and quiet strength. His helpful nature and warm presence were a source of comfort to students and staff alike. Whether assisting with administrative tasks or offering a kind word in passing, he exemplified the values we hold dear.

Students remember him not only for his professionalism but for the genuine care he showed toward their wellbeing. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he guided, supported, and inspired.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this time of profound loss. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to illuminate our path.

Did you know? The Financial Code of Jammu & Kashmir is a crucial document that governs the financial administration of our region! From budgeting and expenditure guidelines to financial accountability, it lays the foundation for effective governance and public financial management.

To dive deeper into this essential subject, the School of Law, University of Kashmir recently organized a Five-Day Workshop on "Financial Code Regulation" from 18th to 22nd November 2024.

Ms. Zafirah Bashir, Chief Accounts Officer, University of Kashmir, graced the occasion and shared invaluable insights. Esteemed faculty from the School of Law and Department of Management Studies (School of Business Studies) enriched the sessions with their expertise.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both faculty and students of the School of Law.

This interactive workshop aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical financial regulation, empowering attendees with skills for the future!

With profound grief, it's informed to all the members of School of Law , University of Kashmir that our colleague from BALLB 10th semester (Batch 2018) namely IRADAT NAIK has went through a tragic pain by the death of his beloved grandfather on 08th March 2023. Our Heartfelt condolences, specially to brother IRADAT NAIK and the bereaved family.May Almighty Allah bless the departed soul with highest place in jannat and give patience to the bereaved .
