SKUAST Kashmir Signs MoU with Mission YUVA & IIM Jammu

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mission YUVA and IIM Jammu to provide neo-innovative enterprises with a world-class and finest incubation support model.

The MoU aims to strengthen entrepreneurship, innovation, incubation, and enterprise development by providing aspiring entrepreneurs with access to structured support, mentorship, expertise, and an ecosystem conducive to growth.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the VC Office in the presence of Prof. Nair Ahmad Ganai, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Kashmir, marking an important step towards building a stronger innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir.

This collaborative initiative is expected to empower emerging enterprises and help transform innovative ideas into sustainable and impactful ventures.

AAWAAZ – Startup Awareness Programme | GDC Shopian

The SKUAST-K Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (SKIIE) Centre had an inspiring and engaging interaction with the sharp, enthusiastic and creative young minds of Government Degree College (GDC) Shopian during the AAWAAZ Startup Awareness Programme.

The enthusiasm, curiosity and innovative thinking displayed by the students reflected the immense entrepreneurial potential of Shopian. The ideas and perspectives shared during the programme reaffirmed that great ideas can emerge from every corner when young minds receive the right platform, guidance and opportunities.

Through AAWAAZ, SKIIE is committed to connecting young minds with entrepreneurship knowledge, mentors, opportunities and the wider startup ecosystem, helping them move from ideas to innovation and from innovation to enterprise organised as part of the MeitY Agri Excellence Project.

We sincerely acknowledge the support of the Principal, GDC Shopian, Mr. Tariq Hussain Mir, Prof. Mohd.
