Greenland Foundation Hosts a Grand Nurses' and White Coat Celebration
The Nurses' Celebration and White Coat Ceremony organized by the Greenland Foundation and Greenland College of Paramedical & Nursing was a grand and memorable event that witnessed the presence of distinguished dignitaries from various fields.
The chief guests and guests of honor included senior officers from the Traffic Police, the Director of All New Medical Colleges, the Principal of GMC Rajouri, the Head of the Department of Pathology, GMC Jammu, the Controller of Examinations of the Jammu & Kashmir Nursing Council, KAS and IPS officers, local political leaders, social workers, business leaders, along with the Chairman, Principal, faculty members, and staff of the Greenland Foundation and the Greenland Group of Institutions. Students from various institutions also participated enthusiastically, making the event a resounding success.
During the ceremony, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rathar eloquently highlighted the indispensable role of nurses in the healthcare system and their selfless service to humanity. Dr. Inder Singh Bhatia spoke about the remarkable contribution of the Greenland Foundation towards education and healthcare in society. Mr. Miraj Wali emphasized the transformative power of education and inspired students to step confidently into the future. Other eminent speakers unanimously acknowledged the vital role of paramedics and nursing professionals, stressing that modern healthcare cannot function effectively without their dedication and expertise alongside doctors.
The program also featured colorful cultural performances, thought-provoking speeches, and engaging presentations by students and faculty members. Debaters from the school and college showcased their talent, adding further charm to the occasion.
The ceremony concluded on a high note, leaving everyone inspired and reaffirming the dignity of the nursing profession. It was widely appreciated as one of the most successful and memorable events organized by the Greenland Group of Institutions.
