🌱 NSS Orientation Day | A New Journey of Service Begins! 🇮🇳
A meaningful and inspiring NSS Orientation Day was organised with the presence of our respected Principal Smt. Babita Bhitria Ma’am, Administrative Bursar Alok Kumar Naik Sir, National Awardee & Chief Guest Nirod Baran Khuntia Sir, and ADNO Raghunath Mandal Sir. The insightful sessions, interaction with dignitaries, and experiences shared by senior volunteers inspired our newly joined volunteers to understand the true spirit, responsibilities and values of NSS. The programme beautifully reinforced the motto “Not Me, But You” and encouraged our young volunteers to begin their journey of service, leadership and social responsibility.
🌿 “From Orientation to Action — Serving Society, Inspiring Change.”

NSS volunteers of Government Autonomous College, Sundargarh actively participated in the Suposh*t Odisha Mission and supported the Suposh*t Anganwadi vision. The volunteers visited Anganwadi centres and engaged with children, parents and the community to promote awareness on balanced nutrition, child health, hygiene, sanitation and prevention of malnutrition. They encouraged families to provide nutritious, locally available food to children and emphasized regular health monitoring, immunisation and hygienic practices. The volunteers also supported Anganwadi workers in community mobilisation and awareness activities. Their participation reflects the NSS motto “Not Me But You” and strengthens youth involvement in grassroots health and nutrition initiatives.
