We are pleased to share that the Faculties of Srinivas Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Srinivas University, Mukka, Mangalore, had the opportunity to attend the “Meet & Greet” session with Dr. Yagna Unmesh Shukla, Chairperson, National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions, held today at Mangaluru. The session was highly informative, inspiring, and interactive, bringing together principals, HODs, and faculty members from various allied health science institutions.
Dr. Shukla provided valuable insights into the current advancements, regulatory frameworks, and future directions of allied and healthcare education in India. The discussion emphasized the importance of standardization, quality education, professional ethics, and the expanding scope of allied health professionals in the healthcare system.
The event also served as a great platform for academic exchange, networking, and understanding policy-level developments that will directly impact our teaching, clinical practice, and student training. The presence of esteemed dignitaries and the active participation of faculty members made the session engaging and meaningful.
