ਸਥਾਨਕ ਕਾਲਜ ਮਾਝਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ ਤਰਨ-ਤਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਐਨ ਐਸ ਐਸ ਯੁਨਿਟ ਵਲੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਈ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ 'ਏਕ ਪੇੜ ਮਾਂ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ' ਅਧੀਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰਜ਼
ਵਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਐੱਨ ਐਸ ਐਸ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਜ਼ ਨੇ
ਪਿੰਡ ਜੋਧਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਦਾ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਐਨ ਐਸ ਐਸ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾਏ।ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਜੀ
ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਐਨ ਐਸ ਐਸ ਯੁਨਿਟ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਮਾਨਵ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਈ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਐਨ ਐਸ ਯੁਨਿਟ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਡਾ.ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਅਨੁਦੀਪ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ,ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਤੇ ਐਨ ਐਸ ਐਸ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ।

The Eco Club of Majha College for Women Tarntaran, in collaboration with the Fashion Designing Department under the Environment Education Programme and guided by the Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, organized a one-day Workshop on Recycle for Better Tomorrow. Students participated with great enthusiasm, creating various items such as cloth bags, doormats, decorative pieces from waste fabric, paper, and plastic bottles, as well as reusing old clothes for wall hangings. Both students and faculty pledged to protect and preserve the environment.Principal prof.Harminder kaur and the Management of Majha Educational Society congratulate to students for this great innitative and determined effort.
