Igniting Creativity, Building Futures 🏗️ | Programs Offered: B.Arch. Tiwari College of Architecture focuses on developing professional skills of students and empowers them to make the most of their knowledge and realize their full potential for the growth of the society. With an approach that not

only familiarizes students with real-world problems, but also trains them how to approach and solve them, the college is one-of- its-kind in the district. It aims at encouraging student-teacher interaction and enhancing individual student skills. The college has the best of faculty to ensure students are industry-ready and they fare well in their career in highly competitive environment. The belief that the college should have academicians and practitioners both as a part of the faculty underpins the college’s fundamental philosophy. On one hand practitioners bring with them knowledgeable industry insights and the art of decision-making to the class, while on the other hand, academicians teach students to tackle problems with a critical and analytical approach. The teachers at the college work with students to support them through their individual knowledge quest and empower them to evolve into knowledgeable individuals

Earlier this year, received the Next Gen- Study Visit Grant from the Volvo Research and Education Foundation (VREF). This grant is awarded to emerging scholars in the field of mobilities to conduct comparative research. As part of this award, this October Nisha was hosted for 20 days at Kenyatta University, Nairobi, to undertake research exploring the intersections of walking, gender, labour and informality. This study builds upon and extends her ongoing PhD research at IIT Bombay, that looks at the walking and mobility patterns of women domestic workers in Mumbai.
