പുഷ്പഗിരി ഗ്രാമാശുപത്രി ചുങ്കപ്പാറയില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനമാരംഭിച്ചു. തിരുവല്ല അതിരൂപതാദ്ധ്യക്ഷന്‍ അഭി. ഡോ. തോമസ് മാര്‍ കൂറിലോസ് മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്താ കൂദാശ കര്‍മ്മവും, ബഹു.കേരള തുറമുഖ സഹകരണ ദേവസ്വം വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. വി.എന്‍. വാസവന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനവും നിര്‍വഹിച്ച് ആശുപത്രി നാടിന് സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചു. പത്തനംതിട്ട എം.പി. ശ്രീ. ആന്‍റോ ആന്‍റണി ആദ്യ ഒ.പി. കാര്‍ഡ് വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. പൊതു സമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ ശ്രീ. പ്രമോദ് നാരായണ്‍ എം.എല്‍.എ മുഖ്യ പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി.
