The NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION (UGC) under the vision to make quality the defining element of higher education in India through a combination of self and external quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance initiatives devised a mission called INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC).The ardor of the init

iative is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of institutions. To augment the quality affirmation practices and to safeguard the exhaustive excellence and academic merit the authority of Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram(GLC TVPM) visualized the urgency and formulated an active chapter of IQAC in the institution. The agenda and the work plan of IQACGLC TVPM are solely based on an ambition to activate quality in all the activities of the institution and to advance an ambience of promotion and progress. The Composition of IQAC GLC TVPM is an equalized and equitable one. To preserve balance and to reach in to every stratum of the institution the working group of IQAC GLC TVPM is equipped with a vibrant and spirited guild, which includes Faculty Members, Administrative staffs, Library staffs, Alumni, PTA Members and Student representatives.

We proudly present you the "2019 National Seminar"

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram is organizing a TWO DAY NATIONAL SEMINAR on Transgressing Child Rights: A Retreat of Cultural, Social And Moral Values on November 21 and 22, 2019. The seminar envisages a discussion and presentation on three aspects namely Child Rights, Violations of Child Rights and Child Protection.
The organizers of the Seminar call upon legal professionals, academicians from other social science disciplines, administrators, University students, young and upcoming research scholars, social activists and representatives of governmental and non - governmental organizations to present their research papers relevant to the mentioned themes.

Call for Papers

An abstract not exceeding 350 words shall be submitted in .doc or .docx format for consideration on or before 4th November, 2019 to [email protected]. Co-authorship up to 2 persons is permitted.
The abstract shall contain:
👉Title of paper
👉Brief idea of the paper
👉Conclusion indicating author’s perspective.
The abstract shall indicate the name, designation, Institution details, e-mail Address and Telephone numbers of all contributors. In case of co-authorship, each author will have to register separately in the event of participation in the seminar.
Selected abstracts will be intimated after blind peer review. Thereafter, the full papers shall be submitted on or before 10th November to [email protected].

It is with immense pride & bliss that we share some best captures of today's session ( Session 3) of Student Lecture Series (SLS) delivered by Pratap Alexander Muthalaly (1st Semester 5 year integrated BA LLB).

Pratap made a brilliant choice of opting a credible topic - 'Artificial Intelligence & Legal Profession - Scope, Impact & Future' & portrayed the same in a laudable way. congratulations Pratap Muthalaly. You have done a great job.

We appreciate the selfless cooperation of Smt. Rini M.V ( Asst. Professor, GLC Thiruvananthapuram) & Smt. Nancy (Guest Faculty, GLC Thiruvananthapuram), in judging today's SLS. We are also indebted to the concern and cooperation offered by the faculty, students, Non-teaching staffs and all others, who participated in today's SLS and made the event a grand success.
