We are thrilled to announce a strategic collaboration between the University of Kerala's Department of Futures Studies and Datahut , a premier data mining startup based in Kochi. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to providing students with the best opportunities to become industry-ready even before graduating.
As part of this partnership, Datahut will provide mentoring and technology support to the MSc Data Science students of Department of Futures Studies, University of Kerala . They will also offer special internship program where the students can solve real-world problems using data mining techniques like web scraping.
The students will use the acquired data to create value-added products such as similarity search engines for e-commerce, analytics tools, and data enrichment tools under the mentorship of experts from Datahut. These final products will serve as excellent portfolio items for the students to showcase to recruiters.
Partnerships between industry and academia are instrumental in creating a skilled workforce, and we are excited to see the impact this partnership will have on our student's futures.
