സെന്റ് തോമസ് കോളേജിൽ ദേശീയ ഗണിതശാസ്ത്ര സെമിനാർ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു
​തൃശൂർ: സെന്റ് തോമസ് കോളേജ് ഗണിതശാസ്ത്ര വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ കെ.എസ്.സി.എസ്.ടി.ഇ (KSCSTE), ഐ.ക്യു.എ.സി (IQAC) എന്നിവയുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ മാർച്ച് 24, 25 തിയ്യതികളിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച അൾജിബ്ര ആൻഡ് ക്രിപ്റ്റോഗ്രാഫി കോൺഫറൻസ്(NCAC-2026) വിജയകരമായി സമാപിച്ചു. കൊൽക്കത്ത ഐ.എസ്.ഐ മുൻ ഡയറക്ടർ പത്മശ്രീ പ്രൊഫ. ബിമൽ കുമാർ റോയ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡോ. ഫാ. മാർട്ടിൻ കെ. എ. അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. ഗണിതശാസ്ത്ര വിഭാഗം അസോസിയേറ്റ് പ്രൊഫസർ ഡോ. സാജു എം. ഐ-യുടെ സേവനസമ്പന്നമായ ഔദ്യോഗിക ജീവിതത്തിന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പ്രത്യേകമായി ആദരിച്ചു. കോളേജ് എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് മാനേജർ ഫാ. ബിജു പാണേങ്ങാടൻ, വകുപ്പ് മേധാവി ഡോ. വിജി എം, വൈസ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ ഡോ. ഫാ. അനിൽ ജോർജ് കെ, ഐ.ക്യു.എ.സി കോർഡിനേറ്റർ ഡോ. ദിവ്യ ജോർജ്, ഡീൻ ഓഫ് റിസർച്ച് ഡോ. ജോയ്സ് ജോസ്, അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് പൊഫസർ ആന്റണി ജോൺ ഇ. എഫ്., സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് കോർഡിനേറ്റർ ആതിര അശോക് എന്നിവർ ചടങ്ങിൽ സംസാരിച്ചു.
രണ്ടുദിവസം നീണ്ടുനിന്ന സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള അക്കാദമിക് വിദഗ്ധർ ക്ലാസ്സുകൾ നയിച്ചു.

മോഡൽ പാർലിമെന്റ് മത്സരം : തൃശ്ശൂർ സെന്റ് തോമസ് കോളേജിന് രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനം

തൃശൂർ : സംസ്ഥാനതല മോഡൽ പാർലിമെന്റ് മത്സരത്തിൽ തൃശൂർ സെന്റ് തോമസ് കോളേജിന് രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനം. കേരള സർക്കാരിന്റെ പാർലിമെന്ററികാര്യ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെയാണ് പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്.മത്സരത്തിൽ ബെസ്റ്റ് പാർലിമെന്ററിയൻ ആയി മൂന്നാം വർഷ ബി എ ഇക്കണോമിക്സ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനി അമൃത പി യു വിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.

തൃശൂർ കോർപറേഷൻ മേയർ ഡോ. നിജി ജസ്റ്റിൻ ഉൽഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. നിയമസഭ റിട്ട. അഡിഷണൽ സെക്രട്ടറി ജി പി ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണൻ, റിട്ട. ജോ. സെക്രട്ടറി അനിൽകുമാർ എന്നിവർ വിധികർത്താക്കളായിരുന്നു. പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ മാർട്ടിൻ കെ എ അധ്യക്ഷനായി.പൊളിറ്റിക്കൽ വിഭാഗം മേധാവി ഡോ. ബ്ലെസി പോൾ, അധ്യാപിക ഡാലിയ വർഗീസ് എന്നിവർ നേതൃത്വം നൽകി. 60 ഓളം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

Samavāya – The Research Scholars’ Meet 2026, organised by the R& D Cell of St. Thomas College (Autonomous) on 15-03-2026 was attended by more than 100 research scholars and faculty members. Prof. Dr. C. C. Harilal, Director of Research at the University of Calicut inaugurated the Meet and delivered a talk on "The Evolution of Research". Fr. Sabu Thomas, Assistant Professor at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara led an icebreaking session and conducted a hands-on workshop on “Generative AI in Higher Education and Academic Research”. The meet concluded with a wonderful cultural and game session. RSM-2026 was partly sponsored by the IEDC and IIC of the college. Congratulations to all Research Scholars, especially Ms. Reshma Rajan and Mr. Midhunlal. Special thanks to Rev. Dr. Martin KA, Fr.
