The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering congratulates Afnan K, a third-semester student in Cyber-Physical Systems, on securing the runner-up position in the Web Development competition at Lumiera Tech Fest. This three-day event was hosted by Government Women's Polytechnic College, Thrissur.

Facing a field of over 50 participants, Afnan's exceptional skills were on display throughout the two-round competition. The first round required contestants to build a navigation function for a multi-page website, while the second round challenged them to develop a space-related website.

Afnan's final project was a comprehensive website that featured several impressive elements: the live location of NASA space objects, a random space facts generator, and a real-time display of the location, speed, and other parameters of SpaceX. The site also included a mind map outlining how to become an astronaut.
