Throughout this exciting week, our budding engineers showcased their innovation, creativity, and technical excellence by presenting projects inspired by real-world challenges. The expo served as a vibrant platform where ideas were transformed into practical and impactful solutions. 💡

We were privileged to host esteemed industry experts as external evaluators. Their valuable feedback, expert insights, and professional guidance greatly enriched the learning experience and motivated students to aim higher.

🚀 Seminar on Innovation Using AI, IoT & Emerging Technologies 💡

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Digital Intellect Club, ISTE, and IE, successfully organized an insightful seminar on “Innovation Using AI, IoT & Emerging Technologies” at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology on 11th April 2026.

🎤 The session was delivered by Mr. Vijayanand Devadoss, Chief Technology Officer, PAB Hardware and Software (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. He shared valuable insights on the latest trends, real-time applications, and innovative advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and emerging technologies.

💬 The seminar was highly interactive and engaging, encouraging students to explore new ideas and technological innovations.

👩‍💻👨‍💻 A total of 51 students actively participated and benefited from this knowledge-rich session.

✨ This program was conducted as an IIC Self-Driven Activity under IIC 8.0, Quarter III, fostering innovation and creativity among students.

✨ Parent-Teacher Meeting 2026 – A Meaningful Interaction ✨

A Parent-Teacher Meeting was successfully conducted on 11th April 2026 at our institution, witnessing enthusiastic participation from around 250 parents along with faculty members.

The program began with an auspicious invocation, followed by the traditional lighting of the kuthuvilakku, symbolizing knowledge and prosperity 🪔.

The Heads of Departments presented the key achievements and initiatives of their respective departments and interacted with parents by addressing their queries and clarifying academic processes. This open discussion strengthened transparency and reinforced the bond between parents and the institution.

We were honored to have Mr. B. Varun, Placement and Career Development Officer, who delivered a special address highlighting the institution’s efforts in enhancing students’ career growth. He elaborated on training programs, placement initiatives, and skill development opportunities offered to students.

Our respected Principal, Dr. J. David Rathnaraj, also addressed the gathering and interacted with parents, patiently responding to their concerns and emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts for students’ academic excellence and overall development.

The active participation and valuable feedback from parents made the session highly productive, interactive, and impactful.

🚀 Second School Event Successfully Completed!

✨ TechXplore – School Visit to AICTE IDEA Lab ✨

On 11th April 2026 (Saturday), we successfully conducted TechXplore, an exciting open-day visit to the AICTE IDEA Lab. 🎯

🎓 Participants:
Batch 2 of 12th standard students from GRG School, Hopes College, Coimbatore actively took part in this enriching experience.

🔬 The students explored cutting-edge technologies such as:

3D Printing
CO₂ Laser Cutter
Milling Machine
Wood Cutter
And other innovative tools

💡 The session aimed to provide hands-on exposure to modern engineering concepts, encouraging students to think creatively and innovatively.

👏 The enthusiasm, curiosity, and active participation of the students made the event truly engaging and impactful. Their valuable feedback at the end of the session added to the success of the program.

We are delighted to share the successful completion of Tech Quest, an exciting and insightful school visit to the AICTE IDEA Lab, held on 10th April 2026.

🏫 School Visited: GRG School, Hopes College, Coimbatore

The main objective of this event was to introduce students to emerging technologies and provide hands-on exposure to advanced tools such as 3D Printing, CO₂ Laser Cutter, Milling Machine, Wood Cutter, and more.

💡 Students actively explored real-time applications, interacted with innovative equipment, and showcased great enthusiasm in learning how technology is shaping the future.
