Intellectual property rights (IPR) are a bundle of rights that protect original creations by a person or company, such as designs, trademarks, copyrights, and research outputs. IPRs are important for startups because they help preserve and differentiate their products and services in a competitive marketplace. They can also increase a startup's value to investors and partners.
Here are some ways startups can protect their IPRs:
Secure patents: Provide legal protection against competitors who might try to copy or use the startup's invention without permission
Secure trademarks: Help startups maintain unique and differentiated offerings
Secure copyrights: Protect authorship
Use non-disclosure agreements: Protect trade secrets
Conduct regular IP audits: Ensure that their IP protection strategy is comprehensive and up-to-date

Taking industrial automation to new heights with virtualization The separation of hardware and software also enables new types of virtualization to be applied to the industrial space, further advancing traditional automation paradigms and increasing overall efficiency. In the traditional IT sense, the term ‘virtualization’ is commonly used to describe a scenario where several virtual machines (VMs) are set up on a single server. When used in the context of industrial automation it has various meanings, but the premise is much the same – a move from physical to virtual. For this purpose, we are referring to when a process that was traditionally only able to be carried out with hardware and software combined has been digitalized, leveraging the power of software to become more virtual.

The Lingua Club of the Department of English celebrated its Heyday’24 on May 20,2024. Dr.V. Radhakrishnan, Principal, K.S.R. College of Arts and Science, delivered Chief Guest address that praised the club’s efforts in bringing out the language skills of the students. He encouraged students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the club. This event marked the culmination of another successful year of the club and served as a platform to celebrate the achievements of the students.
