Our college's Institute of Innovations Council conducted an Idea Pitch competition—an internal hackathon—on September 15, 2025. There was active participation from 45 teams, comprising 264 students, of which 156 were girls and 108 were boys.

Note:
31 teams were shortlisted to participate in the Smart India Hackathon 2025, to be conducted by IICs of MHRD India.

We are thrilled to share that our third-year Artificial Intelligence and Data Science student, Ms. Deeksh*tha K P, has successfully completed a prestigious and highly competitive internship at ISRO’s UR Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru, under the Flight Dynamics Group.

Her internship project, titled

“Machine Learning for Predicting Solar Radio Flux to Model Satellite Drag”,
demonstrates her exceptional technical capability and research acumen in applying AI to real-world space science challenges. This rare opportunity with ISRO not only enhances her academic journey but also places her among the brightest young minds contributing to India’s space research mission. 🚀📡🛰️
