On 12 March 2026, the ‘Aashirvachanam’ programme was organized under the aegis of the Dr. K. N. Modi Foundation. The Chief Guest of the programme was Shri. Jayant Chaudhary Ji, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
In the programme, Dr. Rajkumar Sangwan Ji, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Baghpat Lok Sabha, was present as the Distinguished Guest; Dr. Manju Sivach Ji, MLA, Modinagar, as Special Guest; and Shri Vinod Vaishali Ji, Chairman, Modinagar Municipal Council, as Special Guest.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana. In his address, Prof. Dr. D. K. Modi, Chairman of the Foundation, expressed gratitude to Shri Jayant Chaudhary Ji for being present in Modinagar for the event. He also shared detailed information about the academic activities taking place at the institutions, from the commencement of academic operations of Dr. K. N. Modi University, Modinagar from the academic session 2025–26, to education being imparted for students’ skill development and employability.
He stated that the primary objective of all institutions under the Dr. K. N. Modi Foundation is to provide world-class education to students from rural areas and economically weaker sections, and to promote women’s empowerment. Our special focus has always been on entrepreneurship and skill development. Since 2007, we have initiated several such programs for students at Ginni Modi PG College. With this objective, the Dr. K. N. Modi Centre for Skill Development was established in 2015, where training is provided in more than 22 job roles. So far, over 10,000 students have received training and placement through these initiatives. In addition, we are pleased to share that we are also a training partner of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
During the programme, 26 meritorious students who secured the highest marks in various programs in the academic session 2024–25 were honoured with gold medals and certificates of appreciation.
In his address, Shri Jayant Chaudhary Ji appreciated and commended the meaningful efforts being made by the Dr. K. N. Modi Foundation and the University in the field of education. He advised students that when India speaks today, the entire world listens attentively; therefore, all students must improve their work efficiency to such a level that no one in the world can match them. In his address, he stated that Dr. K. N. Modi University should certainly continue its work in the field of skill development. In addition to this, the university should also assist the Ministry in the development of new courses and curriculum, so that innovative courses can be designed to provide employment-oriented education to a large number of students. He further encouraged the university to undertake advanced work in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and contribute actively to emerging technologies. He conveyed his best wishes to everyone for a brighter future.
During the programme, the ‘Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Centre’ of Dr. K. N. Modi University, Modinagar was also inaugurated, and best wishes were extended.
Dr. Rajkumar Sangwan Ji motivated students to stay grounded and to contribute to society and nature. Dr. Manju Sivach Ji, in her address, also spoke about the efforts being made in Modinagar towards world-class education, youth development, and sports.
At the end, a vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Manav Modi Ji, and he expressed special gratitude to Shri Jayant Chaudhary Ji.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
