Proud Moment for Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology (CIT), Gubbi and the Department of Civil Engineering!

We are delighted to share a proud achievement of our distinguished alumni, Mr. Md. Ghouse and Mr. Md. Moin Uddin (Batch: 2013–2017), who are making significant contributions to Bengaluru's urban infrastructure.

They recently had the opportunity to actively interact with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, D. K. Shivakumar, and the Hon'ble Minister for Greater Bengaluru Administration (GBA) Sri Krishna Byregowda during the inspection of key infrastructure development works on Old Airport Road, HAL, Bengaluru.

The inspection covered:

M30 Brush-Finished Concrete Footpath construction.
Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) road asphalting work.

Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology (CIT), Gubbi, proudly celebrated ABHINANDANE – 2026, Placement Offer Day on 13th June 2026, recognizing and honoring students who secured placement offers from leading organizations.

The event was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Dr. H. G. Chandrashekar, Chairman, COPPROD Industries, Tumakuru (Chief Guest), Mr. Praveen K. R., Senior Cyber Security Manager, along with distinguished guests from academia, industry, management, parents, faculty members, and students.

Dr. Shantala C. P., Vice Principal and Director, CADC, welcomed the gathering and highlighted CIT's continuous efforts in enhancing student employability through industry collaborations, training initiatives, and career development programs.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. D. S. Suresh, Director, CIT Group of Institutions and Chairman, ISTE Karnataka Section, congratulated the students and emphasized the importance of lifelong learning, professional ethics, and continuous skill enhancement.

Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology (CIT), Tumakuru, had the privilege of hosting a distinguished Team of Japan Engineers for an inspiring day of interaction, learning, and cultural exchange with our students and faculty.

The visit provided a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, discussing emerging technologies, and fostering global perspectives among aspiring engineers. Through engaging technical sessions, collaborative activities, and meaningful interactions, our students gained insights into international engineering practices and innovation.

✨ Logic League 2026 ✨

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully organized the technical event Logic League on 07/05/2026 for the 4th Semester CSE, ISE, and AI & DS students.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who actively engaged in all the rounds with great interest and energy. The competition provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Through various challenging activities, participants explored innovative ways of thinking, improved their implementation skills, and gained exposure to useful programming tools and techniques.

Overall, Logic League 2026 was a great learning experience that encouraged self-analysis, teamwork, and technical excellence among the students.

🚶‍♂️ SWACCH WALKATHON 2026 🚶‍♀️

On 09/05/2026, Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology successfully organized a MEGA SWACCH WALKATHON along with a cleanliness drive as part of the AICTE Activity Points Program.

The SWACCH WALKATHON was conducted from Namada Chilume to Devarayana Durga, Tumakuru promoting awareness about cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and social commitment.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 1200 students and around 100 staff members, making it a grand success.
