Donation of labour performed by the NSS volunteers in the campus as students are the real ambassadors of cleanliness and their actions motivate others to keep their homes, schools, colleges and surroundings clean.

One day camp was organised in the inaugural ceremony of NSS at Lords University. Dr. Saroj Meena, recipient of the President's Award, declaimed the importance and purpose of NSS in her address to the audience. She said that NSS works for others' interest. NSS works in alignment to Gandhiji’s thoughts giving importance to cleanliness of the society, the nation, and above all the individual mind. Dr. Saroj Meena informed the students about the various schemes of NSS and that NSS is a platform where students can develop their talents. Not only this, if children have the ability and spirit of working towards the society and the nation, then they are helped and encouraged by the government as well.
NSS Coordinator of Lords University, Dr. Pradeep Kumar thanked Dr. Saroj for her valuable presence and applauded for her achievement as the best NSS officer of Rajasthan. Dr. Sneh Saiwal and Dr. Neetu Yadav presented a memento to the chief guest. In the presence of all the student volunteers of the NSS unit, Dr. Mohd. Tariq, Dr. Abhiram Dixit, Manoj Saini, Ravi Shankar Rao, Dr. Nitin Kumar and Ms. Shivani Shekhar, the event was conducted wondrously.

NSS helps the student to grow individually and also as a group. Volunteering for various tasks under NSS activities help students to become confident, develop leadership skills, and gain knowledge about different people from different walks of life.
Students learn various life-essential skills while working towards improvement of people’s standard of living thereby fulfilling the aim of NSS of providing help to everyone in need. Active volunteers of NSS earn exposure and experience of becoming accomplished social leaders and efficient administrators.
