IIM Udaipur successfully hosted Adhyay 2026 – Bangalore City Chapter Meet at Chin Lung, Marathahalli, nestled in the heart of one of Bangalore’s most vibrant corporate hubs.
The evening witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni across different batches, along with the guest speaker Mr. Ganesh Krishnan, Co-Founder Growth Story, Serial Entrepreneur and the Alumnus of IIM Calcutta, Director of IIMU Prof. Ashok Banerjee, IIMU Faculty member Prof. Vedha Ponnappan, & the institute’s visiting Faculty Members Prof. Shanker Subramoney, Dr Praveen Kamath Kumbla, Prof. Mahesh Rao, Prof. Lakshman Pachineela Seshadri, Prof. Utkarsh Majmudar and In-charge Digital Enterprise Mr. Shekar Y and Mrs. Payal Pitliya, Head – One Year MBA Placements— making it a truly memorable celebration of connections, conversations, and shared experiences.
The event commenced with an address by the Director, Prof. Ashok Banerjee, who spoke about IIM Udaipur’s growing focus on AI, industry collaboration, mentorship, internships, and building stronger academia-industry partnerships to create future-ready talent. He also introduced the evening’s guest speaker, Ganesh Krishnan.
A major highlight of the evening was the insightful session by Ganesh Krishnan, serial entrepreneur associated with BigBasket, Portea, and BlueStone. Reflecting on entrepreneurship and innovation in India, he shared a powerful insight: “India has opportunities because many things still don’t work perfectly here — and that itself is the biggest opportunity for youngsters to build, solve, and innovate.” His message reinforced how India’s challenges often become the foundation for innovation and disruption.
