Udaipur(12/11/2014) Keeping in tune with the ongoing cricket fever and getting ready for the Cricket world cup lineup .A Cricket match was being organized between students of Advent Institute of Management Studies. Enthusiastic interest of student was at its peak and was being showcased in the amount of effort that was being put in by students on the cricketing meadows.
Team were selected based on competencies and focus was being placed on the formulation of a balanced side which could face the challenge. Members from both team lined up of a formal interaction before the match.Players were being briefed about the rules and instruction were being laid down for a fair play.
It was a 15-15 a side match and after winning the toss seniors chose to throw the challenge of inviting juniors to bat .Juniors overwhelmed with energy tried to find answers to fire blows of seniors and were bundled in around score of three quarters to hundred.
Meekly framed score was easily chased and after the completion team exchanged greeting a goodwill gesture keeping high standard of sportsmen spirit. Matches like this are not just a recreational effort rather a opportunity for of leaning management fundas of team building, planning, scheduling, sportsmen spirit and many others facets to name.
In some total it was a small beginning for activities to be showcased at next higher level. Exhausted after the days work everybody sat together to discuss the success and failure with refreshment to reenergize them for next encounter.
There was no scarcity of energy, strength and joy and again the second challenging encounter was being played .Again seniors were better at skill ,temperament and overall tricks of the trade. Efforts of student were being applauded by coordinator Dr Dipin Mathur and was very happy to see the student coming in numbers and participating in outdoor event. Faculty members were always on ground keeping bird eye on student participation and judgmenting at point of critical point of controversy.

Industrial tour MCA batch 2012-15

Students of MCA(Batch 2012-15) returned back successfully after the 7 day national Industrial tour .Tour started on the evening of Nov 3,2014 to delhi and then to Nanital .
On Midway the students were accompanied to visit IT comapny HCL at Rudrapur-Uttrakhand and to know in detail as to how a IT company works.Students were briefed about modern technologies and emerging trends in technology.
Students found the interaction with Industry Big-Wig fruitful and was very useful.In informal interaction students asked about the prospect that IT industry shall showcase in near future and how to go about for better secured career.
The troupe futher went to nanital,kasoni and corbet national park to get glimpses of heaven on earth.The jungle safari in corbett was a life event and shall not be forgoted in many years to come.
After a week of fun fare the group returned back after paying homage to father of nation at Rajghat and salute to martyr at India Gate .

Activity like this are a recreational one with a hidden idea to get the student relieved and relaxed and to get ready for writing their career destiny.The tour was ably managed by faculties of department of Computer Science.

Udaipur(11/11/2014) Students from Management fraternity of Advent Institute of Management studies celebrated the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Maulana Abul Kalam, who is remembered as was a Gandhian Socialist, environmentalist, mystic and independence activist. Following India's independence, he became the first Minister of Education in the Indian government. as "National Education Day" with fun and fare.Tribute were being paid to the great leaders of Indian Independence movement .

Jivatram Bhagwandas Kripalani popularly known as Kripalani , a Gandhian Socialist, environmentalist, mystic and independence activist, too was remembered as his birth anniversary do falls on the same day

Contribution of both the leaders were remembered and day and tribute were being paid to the great sons through a slogan completion to salute great sons of the soil.Students participated in great numbers and made posters on various topics viz National Integration.Student took pledge to follow the path shown by our great leaders and shall try to put in best efforts to revive past glory of India .

Udaipur(31/10/2014) Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel birth anniversary was being celebration as national unity day at Advent College Udaipur.Students and Faculty member gathered for a event being organized by the college.HOD of department was the dignitoniaries for the function.

To commensurate the event Dr Sanjay Gaur throwed light on the life and work done by Sardar Patel.He through motivational illustration asked student to join hands for national cause. Documentary film was being shown to the students later which depicted the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel from Birth to the last breadth.Students were overwhelmed to see as to how our national leaders fight for the national Independence and also how our first home minister Sardar Patel was being able to pursue princely state to join India as a nation.

Pledge was being taken on national Unity day by students.Dr Dipin Mathur ,Coordinator took the onus to deliver the oath to students.Programme was being anchored by Pawan Shanker Sharma,Faculty and was ably supported by Gaurav Salvi.

It was really a eye opener for all august present for the function to mark the Birth Aniiversary Celebration of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.All present learnt many new things about the life of Sardar Patel.Truly inspirational personality who had his name engrossed on writing on modern India.National shall never forget the good work being done by Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.
