The School of Design, Avantika University, recently hosted an interactive alumni session with Sheil Joshi (Batch of 2018), an alumnus of the School of Design and the recipient of the prestigious India’s Best Design Student 2026 award.

The session offered students an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the evolving world of design, explore the latest design trends, understand industry expectations, and learn practical tips from an accomplished designer.

Through an engaging exchange of ideas and experiences, Sheil shared his journey from being a student at Avantika to making a mark in the design industry, inspiring the next generation of designers to think creatively, stay curious, and keep pushing the boundaries of design.

The students from B.Des (2nd Year), Graphic Design, showcased their coursework exhibition as part of the Typography course. The exhibition featured a diverse range of explorations, experiments, and creative outcomes developed throughout the course.

From understanding the fundamentals of type to experimenting with form, composition, hierarchy, and visual expression, the students explored typography as a powerful tool for communication and design.

The School of Agriculture at Avantika University recently organized its first live skill training programme on Azolla and Vermicompost Production for farmers and students.🌱

The programme focused on bridging the gap between agricultural knowledge and hands-on practice, providing participants with practical training in Azolla production, its use as nutritious livestock feed, and vermicompost production as an eco-friendly approach to sustainable farming.
