Brief History of the school

The school came into existence as "Poorva Madhyamik Vidyalaya" in August 1986 which was taken over by the DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi in Sept.19

Don't be lazy.
Get up right now and do what needs to be done.

It's time to quit being lazy, it's time to stop making excuses and it's time to stop waiting and hoping for the right time.
~
You have no one else to blame other than yourself for being lazy... no one is born lazy, they just become lazy!
~
I get that life can be exhausting and that it can beat you into the ground and take away all your energy and spirit... it does that to all of us.
~
Now the question is, are you going to stay down, stay where you are or are you going to get the hell up and fight for your dreams and get back in the game.
~
You can keep waiting for the right time or the right opportunity and you can keep making excuses or you can stand up and take control of your emotions and your life once and for all and make right now the right time.
~
I promise you the right opportunity rarely if ever appears.... you have to get up every single day and create the right opportunities and become the flow of energy and nothing worth having will be attracted to you, until you become that relentless force.
~
You've had your fun, you've felt sorry for yourself and you've been living off the sympathy of others and your own soul for long enough... playtime is well and truly over.
~
Quit being lazy.
Quit making excuses.
Quit waiting for the right time.
~
Being lazy is an illness and there is only one cure for laziness and that is action, massive, relentless and focused action.
~
You don't have to stay down, you don't have to be embarrassed and hide from the world, your dreams and your potential any longer, it's okay to quit and today you can proudly stand up and declare that you are a quitter!
~
Now get to work, become the flow of energy and become the force of nature you were born to be and don't ever be lazy or lazy minded ever again....
~
You have so much to give and share with the world and I don't want the world to miss out on the full realisation of your unique beauty, gifts and talents!

It all starts with a good nights rest.

A new week, a new day and a new opportunity to thrive and feel alive.

It all starts with you taking care of yourself and giving your mind, body and soul time to rest.
~
Turn off your devices. Turn off the TV and let your mind be still. Over stimulation to technology is what causes so much stress and anxiety in the modern world.
~
You’ve got to know when to shut things off and connect with yourself. It’s okay to not be stimulated and entertained all the time!
~
Give yourself time before bed to prepare your mind and soul for rest. Meditate, journal, read something that calms the soul or simply just sit in silence and allow your mind to gently calm down.
~
A good nights rest is your best defence against feeling stressed out, anxious and unmotivated.

It’s time for you to start managing your energy levels, so you can perform and function at a high level daily and feel energetic and passionate about your life.
~
Have a few simple routines and rituals you run in the evening or before you head to bed, that allow you to get a good nights rest every night.
Do what works best for you, but remember the name of the game is ENERGY!
~
Consistent rest is the key the world..
~
Everyone is different and everyone’s lifestyle and energy needs are different.
I generally say that you want to get between 6 hours to 8 hours of consistent rest every night.
~
The “consistent” part is what determines your energy levels. Not the hours of rest. So that means, you have to be in bed at the same time and up at the same time every day. Your body responds well to patterns and routines and it is through those basic routines that you find greater levels of energy, over time.
~
If you are making great decisions with your diet, exercising for energy, (rather than trying to gain muscle or lose weight) and looking after your mental and spiritual state. Then you will naturally have more energy and be able to live off slightly less sleep than someone who is not managing those other key factors.
~
