Learning Beyond the Classroom 🍄

The Department of Agriculture, Parul University, visited a commercial mushroom farm in Mosada for an immersive field learning experience focused on scientific mushroom cultivation and sustainable agribusiness practices.

From substrate preparation and bag filling to incubation, crop management, and harvesting, students gained practical insights into the complete mushroom production process. Interactions with the farmer and on-site demonstrations provided a deeper understanding of cultivation techniques, environmental management, and the entrepreneurial opportunities that mushroom farming offers.
