🌍 International Academic Achievement | SNSS, Central University of Gujarat
The School of National Security Studies (SNSS), Central University of Gujarat, India, proudly congratulates Mr. Rohit Raj, PhD Research Scholar, Department of Strategic Technologies and National Security, on completing the prestigious International Summer Institute Programme 2026 at the Industrial University of Tyumen (IUT), Russian Federation.
The two-week programme was fully funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and brought together promising young researchers from 11 countries, providing an exceptional platform for international academic exchange, research collaboration, and cross-cultural learning.
During the programme, Mr. Raj visited Moscow, Tyumen, Tobolsk, and Yekaterinburg, participating in expert lectures, laboratory visits, industrial interactions, and discussions on technological innovation, digital transformation, sustainable industrial development, and international cooperation. These experiences have enriched his understanding of the expanding dimensions of Security and Strategic Studies, particularly in the areas of critical infrastructure resilience, emerging technologies, industrial preparedness, cyber-enabled governance, environmental security, and strategic decision-making.
Mr. Raj expressed his sincere gratitude to Prof. Sanjay K Jha, Dean, School of National Security Studies, for his constant encouragement and academic vision; Dr. Vishwas Raval, PhD, Head, Department of Strategic Technologies and National Security, for his unwavering support; and his research supervisor, Dr. Thangjam K. Singh, PhD, for his invaluable mentorship and guidance. He also acknowledged the Industrial University of Tyumen and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for providing this outstanding opportunity that strengthens academic cooperation between India and Russia.
