विश्व उद्यमिता दिवस के अवसर पर राजकीय अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय, वैशाली में स्टार्टअप सेल द्वारा ‘स्केल अप एंड मार्केट एक्सेस’ कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में स्टार्टअप, नवाचार एवं उद्यमिता के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना और उन्हें रोजगार सृजन के लिए प्रेरित करना था।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि श्री भवेश कुमार तिवारी, GM, जिला उद्योग केंद्र, वैशाली ने बिहार सरकार की विभिन्न स्टार्टअप योजनाओं एवं अवसरों की जानकारी दी। श्री देवाशिष कुमार, जिला स्टार्टअप समन्वयक, ने विद्यार्थियों को अपने अभिनव विचारों को व्यावहारिक रूप देने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

प्रो. सुमित लाल एवं प्रो. आलोक कुमार ने विद्यार्थियों को स्टार्टअप की बढ़ती आवश्यकता से अवगत कराया। श्री रवि रंजन, निदेशक, Windson Solution, एवं छात्र उद्यमी श्री अंकित राज ने अपने स्टार्टअप अनुभव साझा किए। इस अवसर पर छात्र शिवम कुमार एवं अजय कुमार द्वारा विकसित उत्पादों का औपचारिक लॉन्च भी किया गया।

प्राचार्य डॉ. आशीष कुमार श्रीवास्तव ने कहा कि स्टार्टअप सेल विद्यार्थियों में उद्यमिता की भावना विकसित करने के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत है तथा भविष्य में भी उद्योग विभाग के सहयोग से ऐसे कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। कार्यक्रम ने विद्यार्थियों को नवाचार, आत्मनिर्भरता एवं उद्यमिता की दिशा में आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

On the occasion of World Entrepreneurship Day, Government Engineering College, Vaishali organized the ‘Scale Up and Market Access’ programme through its Startup Cell. The programme aimed to raise awareness among students about startups, innovation and entrepreneurship and encourage them towards job creation.

The Chief Guest, Shri Bhavesh Kumar Tiwari, GM, District Industries Centre, Vaishali, briefed students about various startup schemes and opportunities offered by the Government of Bihar. Shri Devashish Kumar, District Startup Coordinator, encouraged students to transform their innovative ideas into practical ventures.

Prof. Sumit Lal and Prof. Alok Kumar highlighted the growing importance of startups and entrepreneurship. Shri Ravi Ranjan, Director, Windson Solution, and student entrepreneur Shri Ankit Raj shared their startup experiences with the students. Products developed by students Shivam Kumar and Ajay Kumar were also formally launched during the programme.

Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava, Principal, GEC Vaishali, stated that the Startup Cell is continuously working to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship among students and that similar programmes will continue to be organized in collaboration with the Industry Department. राजकीय अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय, वैशाली में RAMP कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत MIS Executives के नियोजन हेतु कैंपस चयन प्रक्रिया का आयोजन 21 अगस्त 2026 को किया गया। यह प्रक्रिया कार्यालय आदेश ज्ञापन संख्या 1880 दिनांक 18.08.2026 (फाइल संख्या E-569753) के अनुसार आयोजित की गई।

चयन पैनल में श्री अमन समीर, निदेशक, MSME निदेशालय (अध्यक्ष); श्री अजय कुमार दीक्षित, सहायक निदेशक (सदस्य); श्री विवेक कुमार, सहायक निदेशक (सदस्य); तथा श्री राधेश्याम कुमार, IT Manager (सहायक संसाधन) शामिल रहे।

इस चयन प्रक्रिया का आयोजन GEC वैशाली के प्रशिक्षण एवं प्लेसमेंट (T&P) सेल के मार्गदर्शन में किया गया। चयन प्रक्रिया के सुचारू एवं सफल संचालन के लिए महाविद्यालय द्वारा सभी आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएँ सुनिश्चित की गईं।

राजकीय अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय (GEC), वैशाली में 80वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस का समारोह देशभक्ति एवं उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ ध्वजारोहण, राष्ट्रगान, ध्वज सलामी एवं परेड के साथ हुआ। इसके पश्चात विद्यार्थियों, शिक्षकों एवं कर्मचारियों के बीच मिठाई का वितरण किया गया।

इस अवसर पर प्रो. आशीष कुमार श्रीवास्तव, प्राचार्य, GEC वैशाली ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए स्वतंत्रता दिवस के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला तथा स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के बलिदान को नमन किया। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को देशभक्ति, एकता, अनुशासन, ईमानदारी एवं सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी के मूल्यों को अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि विद्यार्थियों को अपने तकनीकी ज्ञान एवं कौशल का उपयोग समाज और राष्ट्र के विकास में करना चाहिए।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाण-पत्र एवं उपहार प्रदान किए गए। सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों ने विद्यार्थियों एवं शिक्षकों की प्रतिभा, रचनात्मकता और देशभक्ति की भावना को प्रभावशाली रूप से प्रदर्शित किया।

Government Engineering College (GEC), Vaishali celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The celebration began with flag hoisting, the National Anthem, flag salute, and a parade, followed by sweet distribution among students, faculty members, and staff.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Ashish Kumar Srivastava, Principal, GEC Vaishali, highlighted the significance of Independence Day and paid tribute to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices secured the nation’s freedom. He encouraged students to uphold the values of patriotism, unity, discipline, integrity, and social responsibility. He also motivated the students to use their technical knowledge and skills for the development of society and the nation.

The celebration also featured a vibrant cultural programme at the Multipurpose Hall. The programme included PAHAL songs, a speech by Prof. Vimal Kumar, a solo dance, a patriotic presentation on “Bharat” by Raushan Kumar (2023 Batch, IoT), a song by Prof. Anil Kumar, a song by Raushan (2026 Batch), PAHAL group dance, a dance performance by Manikant (2026 Batch, IoT), and a poetry presentation by Yashvardhan (2026 Batch, ECE).

The programme concluded with certificate/gift distribution to the participants. The cultural performances beautifully showcased the talent, creativity, and patriotic spirit of the students and faculty members.

राजकीय अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय (GEC), वैशाली में नवप्रवेशित बी.टेक. 2026 बैच के लिए आयोजित स्टूडेंट इंडक्शन प्रोग्राम 2026 का 13वें एवं अंतिम दिन उत्साह एवं सकारात्मक माहौल के साथ सफलतापूर्वक समापन हुआ।

समापन दिवस पर “Engineer Yourself Before You Engineer the World” विषय पर प्रेरणादायी सत्र आयोजित किया गया, जिसे प्राचार्य डॉ. आशीष कुमार श्रीवास्तव ने संबोधित किया। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को तकनीकी शिक्षा के साथ अनुशासन, व्यक्तित्व विकास, नेतृत्व क्षमता, सकारात्मक सोच एवं नैतिक मूल्यों को अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

13 दिनों के कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों को संस्थान, विश्वविद्यालय एवं विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी एवं तकनीकी शिक्षा विभाग, बिहार सरकार से संबंधित शैक्षणिक व्यवस्था, नियम, छात्रवृत्ति, छात्रावास, खेलकूद, क्लब, उद्यमिता, नवाचार एवं अन्य अवसरों की जानकारी दी गई।

कार्यक्रम के समापन अवसर पर SIP-2026 के समन्वयक प्रो. निशांत निलय ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रस्तुत किया तथा प्राचार्य, शिक्षकगण, संसाधन व्यक्तियों, आयोजन समिति, कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यार्थियों के सहयोग के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया। आयोजन समिति के सदस्यों प्रो. अनिरुद्ध, प्रो. रजनी, प्रो. प्रियंका झा, प्रो. सुमित लाल, प्रो. रजनीश कुमार (गणित) एवं प्रो. रजनीश कुमार (रसायन विज्ञान) ने भी कार्यक्रम के सफल संचालन में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।

The highlight of the final day was an inspiring session on “Engineer Yourself Before You Engineer the World”, delivered by Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava, Principal, GEC Vaishali. He encouraged students to focus not only on technical education but also on personality development, discipline, positive thinking, leadership skills, and ethical values. He emphasized that before becoming successful engineers, students must develop themselves into responsible, capable, and compassionate individuals.

Throughout the 13-day programme, students were introduced to the institute, university, and the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Government of Bihar, along with academic rules, scholarships, hostel facilities, sports, clubs, entrepreneurship, innovation, and various student development opportunities.

On the concluding day, Prof. Nishant Nilay, SIP-2026 Coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, resource persons, organizing committee, support staff, and students for their valuable contribution to the successful conduct of the programme. राजकीय अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय (GEC), वैशाली में बी.टेक. 2026 बैच के नवप्रवेशित विद्यार्थियों के लिए इंडक्शन कार्यक्रम के 12वें दिन के अंतर्गत विभागीय प्रयोगशालाओं, पुस्तकालय एवं कार्यशालाओं का परिचयात्मक भ्रमण कराया गया। इसका उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को महाविद्यालय की शैक्षणिक एवं तकनीकी सुविधाओं तथा व्यावहारिक शिक्षण से परिचित कराना था।

विद्यार्थियों ने अपने संबंधित विभागों की प्रयोगशालाओं में उपलब्ध उपकरणों, मशीनों एवं तकनीकी संसाधनों का अवलोकन किया तथा उनके उपयोग, सुरक्षा मानकों एवं प्रायोगिक प्रशिक्षण के महत्व की जानकारी प्राप्त की। पुस्तकालय भ्रमण के दौरान विद्यार्थियों को पाठ्यक्रम आधारित एवं संदर्भ पुस्तकों तथा ई-संसाधनों की जानकारी दी गई। साथ ही, वर्कशॉप एवं प्रशिक्षण सुविधाओं के माध्यम से तकनीकी एवं कौशल विकास के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला गया।

विभागाध्यक्षों ने विद्यार्थियों को अपने-अपने विभाग की शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों, पाठ्यक्रम, प्रयोगात्मक शिक्षण, परियोजना कार्य, अनुशासन एवं करियर संभावनाओं से परिचित कराया। विभागाध्यक्षों में श्री मुकेश कुमार रॉय (Civil), सुश्री प्रिया कुमारी (Electrical), डॉ. त्रिप्ता (ECE), श्री नारायण कुमार (Mechanical), डॉ. नारायण कुमार (Food Technology & Management) तथा श्री मनोज कुमार साह (CSE/IoT/Mathematics & Computation) शामिल रहे।

प्राचार्य डॉ. ए.के. श्रीवास्तव ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि प्रयोगशाला भ्रमण सैद्धांतिक ज्ञान को वास्तविक प्रयोगों एवं तकनीकी उपकरणों से जोड़ने का महत्वपूर्ण अवसर है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को महाविद्यालय में उपलब्ध प्रयोगशालाओं, पुस्तकालय एवं अन्य संसाधनों का अधिकतम उपयोग करने तथा अपने ज्ञान को व्यावहारिक कौशल में परिवर्तित करने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

भ्रमण की व्यवस्थाएँ डॉ. रेखा सिंह एवं डॉ. हसन इमाम, सहायक प्राध्यापक, एप्लाइड साइंस विभाग द्वारा की गईं। कार्यक्रम से विद्यार्थियों में उत्साह का संचार हुआ तथा उन्हें अपनी इंजीनियरिंग शिक्षा के लिए एक सकारात्मक एवं स्पष्ट दिशा प्राप्त हुई।

On Day 12 of the Student Induction Programme 2026, Government Engineering College (GEC), Vaishali organized an introductory visit to departmental laboratories, the library, workshops, and other academic facilities for the newly admitted B.Tech. 2026 batch. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the institute’s academic infrastructure, practical learning facilities, and technical resources, helping them connect theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning.

Students visited the laboratories of their respective departments and explored the available equipment, machines, and technical resources. They were briefed about their applications, laboratory safety practices, and the importance of practical learning. During the library visit, students were introduced to textbooks, reference books, e-resources, and other learning facilities. They also visited workshops and training facilities to understand the importance of hands-on learning and skill development.

The Heads of Departments introduced students to their respective departments, academic activities, curriculum, practical training, project work, discipline, and future career opportunities. The department coordinators included Mr. Mukesh Kumar Roy (Civil), Ms. Priya Kumari (Electrical), Dr. Tripta (ECE), Mr. Narayan Kumar (Mechanical), Dr. Narayan Kumar (Food Technology & Management), and Mr. Manoj Kumar Sah (CSE/IoT/Mathematics & Computation).

Addressing the students, Dr. A. K. Srivastava, Principal, GEC Vaishali, emphasized that laboratory visits provide an important opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world experiments and technical equipment. राजकीय अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय (GEC), वैशाली में नवप्रवेशित बी.टेक. 2026 बैच के लिए स्टूडेंट इंडक्शन प्रोग्राम 2026 के 11वें दिन विद्यार्थियों के संचार कौशल, व्यक्तित्व विकास एवं सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व पर केंद्रित दो महत्वपूर्ण सत्र आयोजित किए गए।

प्रथम सत्र में Communication Skill Workshop का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें डॉ. संगीता एवं प्रो. साई विश्वकर्मा ने प्रभावी संचार, भाषा के सही प्रयोग तथा अकादमिक एवं व्यावसायिक जीवन में संचार कौशल के महत्व पर जानकारी दी। विद्यार्थियों को GEC वैशाली के Language Lab से भी परिचित कराया गया तथा भाषा, उच्चारण एवं संचार क्षमता को बेहतर बनाने के लिए इसके प्रभावी उपयोग के बारे में बताया गया।

द्वितीय सत्र में प्रो. निशांत निलय (Civil Engineering) ने Extracurricular Activities एवं Social Outreach Programmes के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को उन्नत भारत अभियान (Unnat Bharat Abhiyan) एवं National Service Schemes से परिचित कराते हुए सामाजिक एवं सामुदायिक गतिविधियों में सक्रिय भागीदारी के लिए प्रेरित किया।

The first session featured a Communication Skill Workshop, conducted by Dr. Sangeeta and Prof. Sai Vishwakarma. The students were guided on effective communication, appropriate language usage, and the importance of communication skills in academic and professional life. They were also introduced to the Language Lab of GEC Vaishali and its role in improving language proficiency, pronunciation, and communication abilities.

The second session was conducted by Prof. Nishant Nilay (Civil Engineering) on the importance of Extracurricular Activities and Social Outreach Programmes. He introduced the students to the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and National Service Schemes, encouraging them to actively participate in social and community-based activities.

Addressing the students, Prof. Ashish Kumar Srivastava, Principal, GEC Vaishali, emphasized that along with technical education, effective communication, leadership skills, and social sensitivity are essential qualities for a successful engineer. He encouraged students to actively participate in various clubs, extracurricular activities, and community outreach programmes to develop their talents and contribute meaningfully to society. He highlighted that a responsible and competent engineer should be able to use technical knowledge for the development of society and the nation.

The two sessions strengthened students’ communication skills, leadership abilities, social awareness, and overall personality development, while encouraging them to understand their responsibilities towards society and the nation alongside their technical education.

राजकीय अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय (GEC), वैशाली में बी.टेक. 6वें सेमेस्टर एवं एम.टेक. 2वें सेमेस्टर के विद्यार्थियों की मध्य-सत्रीय परीक्षाएँ (Mid-Semester Examinations) सुचारु, अनुशासित एवं व्यवस्थित तरीके से आयोजित की जा रही हैं।

प्राध्यापक एवं परीक्षा कर्मी सक्रिय रूप से निरीक्षण (Invigilation) एवं अन्य परीक्षा संबंधी दायित्वों का निर्वहन कर रहे हैं तथा निर्धारित परीक्षा नियमों एवं प्रोटोकॉल का कड़ाई से पालन सुनिश्चित कर रहे हैं।

विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए प्रो. आशीष कुमार श्रीवास्तव, प्राचार्य, GEC वैशाली ने उन्हें आत्मविश्वास के साथ परीक्षा में शामिल होने तथा परीक्षा को अपने अधिगम का आकलन करने एवं सुधार के क्षेत्रों की पहचान करने के अवसर के रूप में लेने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने परीक्षाओं के सुचारु संचालन में प्राध्यापकों एवं परीक्षा कर्मियों के प्रयासों की भी सराहना की।
