IAS - PES Joint Chapter, IEEE GCET SB The official "GCET IEEE Industry Applications Society Student Chapter" IAS focuses specifically on the unique needs of industry and commerce.

Through a network of over 100 chapters globally, regional events and national and international conferences, the society keeps members abreast of current developments in the area of technology in electricity and electronics. In year 2013, GCET IEEE SB officially became a part of IAS and petitioned IAS SB Chapter in GCET. Started with only 1 to 6 and now 40 active members being part of it. GCET IAS

Chapter also provides an opportunity to members for networking with the other IAS chapters and to develope managerial skill by organizing events

Pre Placement Talk(PPT) was organized on 2nd August, 2017 at GCET. The alumni of Gcet who were the members of executive committee of IEEE GCET SB delivered the talk to the students of 4th year. These alumni are placed in Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Reliance Jio, Alpha 9 Marine Service and Universal Hunt. IEEE GCET SB wishes them All the best for their career and also to the students who are going to sit in placements this academic year.
